Abstract

Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and computing architectures and data models configured to facilitate management and performance of enterprise functions, and, more specifically, to an enterprise computing and data processing platform configured to implement applications and computerized tools configured to facilitate implementation of an enterprise data model to generate and manage component data objects representing enterprise tasks and processes, as well as portions thereof, any of which may be used to create and modify an enterprise data flow or a process flow, for example, using an enterprise computerized tool. In some examples, a method includes activating one or more applications as computerized tools to access user account and enterprise function data, identifying permissions, and filtering access to logical components as a function of, for example, persona application data generated using a persona builder application.

Claims (53)

1 . A method comprising:

activating an application at a computing platform configured to associate data representing user accounts to data representing enterprise functions;

receiving data representing a user account from the data representing user accounts and data representing at least one enterprise function from the data representing enterprise functions;

receiving data representing another user account from the data representing user accounts and the data representing the at least one enterprise function from the data representing enterprise functions;

linking the data representing the user account to the data representing the at least one enterprise function, the link further comprising forming a subset of data representing a persona;

identifying a subset of permissions associated with the at least one enterprise function;

applying the subset of permissions to the user account;

applying automatically the subset of permissions to the another user account;

filtering access in association with the user account to one or more logical components of the computing platform as a function of the subset of permissions to form filtered access; and

accessing a logical component via the filtered access associated with the user account.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the persona is represented as data associated with a persona data object in an enterprise data model.

3 . The method of claim 2 wherein the persona data object is an enterprise function data object.

4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the application is a persona builder application.

5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the logical component includes at least a portion of a component data object.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the logical component includes an application.

7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the logical component includes data representing executable instructions to generate data representing a page layout to configure a display in an interface in response to accessing the logical component.

8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the logical component includes data representing a workspace.

9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the logical component includes data representing a workspace component including a navigation component.

10 . The method of claim 1 wherein receiving the data representing the user account comprises:

receiving data representing attributes of a user as user attributes of a user profile.

11 . The method of claim 1 wherein receiving the data representing the at least one enterprise function comprises:

receiving data representing a role.

12 . The method of claim 1 wherein receiving the data representing the at least one enterprise function comprises:

receiving data representing a role associated with an element of a process with which data representing a persona defines interactions with other personas based on the subset of permissions.

13 . The method of claim 12 wherein the element of the process is represented as a task object.

14 . The method of claim 12 wherein the process is a defined process configured to implement applications associated with the computing platform to achieve one or more metrics or values representing one or more metrics.

15 . A system comprising:

a processor; and

a system memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to perform a set of operations to:

activate an application at a computing platform configured to associate data representing user accounts to data representing enterprise functions;

receive data representing a user account from the data representing user accounts and the data representing at least one enterprise function from the data representing enterprise functions;

receive data representing another user account from the data representing user accounts and data representing the at least one enterprise function from the data representing enterprise functions;

link the data representing the user account to the data representing the at least one enterprise function, further comprising an instruction to form a subset of data representing a persona;

identify a subset of permissions associated with the at least one enterprise function;

apply the subset of permissions to the user account;

apply automatically the subset of permissions to the another user account;

filter access in association with the user account to one or more logical components of the computing platform as a function of the subset of permissions to form filtered access; and

access a logical component via the filtered access associated with the user account.

16 . A method comprising:

activating an application at an enterprise data computing platform configured to associate data representing user accounts to data representing enterprise functions;

receiving data representing a user account from the data representing user accounts and data representing at least one enterprise function from the data representing enterprise functions;

linking the data representing the user account to the data representing the at least one enterprise function, the link further comprising forming a subset of data representing a persona; and

identifying a subset of permissions associated with the at least one enterprise function, the identifying the subset of permissions with the at least one enterprise function comprising:

identifying a combination of functions of the enterprise data computing platform and another computing platform, the another computing platform comprising a customer relationship management (“CRM”) computing platform, both of which communicate via one or more application programming interfaces (“APIs”) as a function of the at least one enterprise function;

implementing the subset of permissions based on the combination of functions;

applying the subset of permissions to the user account;

filtering access in association with the user account to one or more logical components of the enterprise data computing platform as a function of the subset of permissions to form filtered access; and

accessing a logical component via the filtered access associated with the user account.

17 . The method of claim 16 wherein the persona is represented as data associated with a persona data object in an enterprise data model or the persona data object is an enterprise function data object.

18 . The method of claim 16 wherein the application is a persona builder application.

19 . The method of claim 16 wherein the logical component includes data representing executable instructions to generate data representing a page layout to configure a display in an interface in response to accessing the logical component.

20 . The method of claim 16 wherein receiving the data representing the at least one enterprise function comprises:

receiving data representing a role associated with an element of a process with which data representing a persona defines interactions with other personas based on the subset of permissions.
