Abstract

The inventive platform and method enhance the efficiency of systems in the interactive conveyance industry for goods and services by providing for the filtering, selection and securing of conveyance services in accordance with one or more of client and representative preferences in substantially real time.

Claims (79)

1. A platform for monitoring for a client a vehicle performing a conveyance service from among conveyance service offerings communicated to a network by at least one business entity, wherein the vehicle is controlled by at least one representative associated with the at least one business entity that provides or supports the conveyance service, the platform comprising:

at least one server in communication with the network, the at least one server configured for repeatedly receiving the conveyance service offerings for conveyance from a first geographical location to at least one second geographical location, the conveyance service offerings comprising conveyance data, at least a portion of the conveyance data comprising information relating to one or more of a person or object to be conveyed and at least one vehicle detail;

at least one application in communication with the network, the at least one application configured for receiving one or a combination of geographical location data, vehicle-related data, and one or more client preference;

at least one terminal in communication with the network, the at least one terminal comprising at least one display device and at least one input device, the at least one terminal configured for interacting with the at least one application and for providing one or a combination of the geographical location data, the vehicle-related data, and the one or more client preference;

wherein the at least one server is further configured to perform aggregating and standardizing one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data;

wherein one or a combination of the at least one application and the at least one server is automated in whole or in part, and further configured to, after aggregating and standardizing:

(a) filter, in any order, at least a portion of one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data to identify a filtered subset of conveyance service offerings using one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data;

(b) identify one or more preferred conveyance service offering from the filtered subset of conveyance service offerings, based on at least one weighted average of one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data;

(c) secure the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering in response to an entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity via the at least one input device; and

(d) generate at least one visual representation on the at least one terminal, the at least one visual representation comprising a geographical map having superimposed thereon a vehicle symbol associated with the secured conveyance service, wherein the vehicle symbol is displayed at a position along a route associated with one or a combination of the secured conveyance service, an additional conveyance service, the first geographical location, and the at least one second geographical location, wherein the position of the vehicle symbol is dynamically updated on the geographical map to display progression of the secured conveyance service.

2. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the conveyance service is one or a combination of services that support or provide transportation of a person or object from the first geographical location to the at least one second geographical location.

3. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the client comprises one or more of a beneficiary of the conveyance service and a demand-side user.

4. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one business entity comprises one or more of a goods supplier, a service provider, a dispatcher, a logistics provider, a broker, a freight provider, a fleet manager, and a map provider.

5. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle comprises one or more of a wheeled vehicle, an autonomous vehicle, a delivery vehicle, a truck, a trailer, a train, an aircraft, a vessel, a transportation machine, and a space vehicle.

6. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one application comprises one or a combination of a web application, a mobile application, a cloud application, a computer application, an application programming interface (API), a computer program, and system software.

7. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises one or a combination of a computer, a smartphone, a tablet, a wearable device, a plugin, a computing device associated with the vehicle, and an Internet of Things (IoT) device.

8. The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises a geographical location module.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein in step c, one or a combination of the at least one terminal, the at least one server, and the at least one application, is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one terminal, the at least one server, and the at least one application, is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein the at least one application is further configured to receive input from a dispatcher associated with the at least one business entity to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service.

13. The platform of claim 1 , wherein at least one function of one or a combination the at least one server and the at least one application, comprises using one of machine learning technology and blockchain technology.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one application and the at least one server, is further configured to automatically and repeatedly analyze one or more of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, by repeating steps (a) through (c) to pool the additional conveyance service to be provided by the vehicle until one or more of the updated vehicle capacity has been substantially filled and the at least one second geographical location has been reached.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein prior to the vehicle completing the secured conveyance service, one or a combination of the at least one application and the at least one server, is further configured to repeatedly analyze one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, to secure the additional conveyance service, based on one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the updated vehicle capacity, the updated vehicle-related data, and the updated geographical location data, that is dynamically updated in substantially real time.

A method within a network for monitoring for a client a vehicle performing a conveyance service from among conveyance service offerings communicated to the network by at least one business entity, wherein the vehicle is controlled by at least one representative associated with the at least one business entity that provides or supports the conveyance service, the method comprising:

(a) receiving within at least one application in communication with the network, one or a combination of, in any order:

(i) the conveyance service offerings for conveyance from a first geographical location to at least one second geographical location, the conveyance service offerings comprising conveyance data, at least a portion of the conveyance data comprising information relating to one or more of a person or object to be conveyed and at least one vehicle detail;

(ii) vehicle-related data;

(iii) geographical location data; and

(iv) one or more client preference provided via at least one terminal, the at least one terminal having at least one input device and at least one display device;

(b) processing one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data by:

(i) aggregating and standardizing one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data;

(ii) filtering, in any order, at least a portion of the aggregated and standardized one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data to identify a filtered subset of conveyance service offerings using one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data; and

(iii) identifying one or more preferred conveyance service offering from the filtered subset of conveyance service offerings based on at least one weighted average of one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data;

(c) securing the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering in response to an entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity via the at least one input device; and

(d) generating at least one visual representation on the at least one terminal, the at least one visual representation comprising a geographical map having superimposed thereon a vehicle symbol associated with the secured conveyance service, wherein the vehicle symbol is displayed at a position along a route associated with one or a combination of the secured conveyance service, an additional conveyance service, the first geographical location, and the at least one second geographical location, wherein the position of the vehicle symbol is dynamically updated on the geographical map to display progression of the secured conveyance service.

17. The method of claim 16 , wherein the conveyance service is one or a combination of services that support or provide transportation of a person or object from the first geographical location to the at least one second geographical location.

18. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one business entity comprises one or more of a goods supplier, a service provider, a dispatcher, a logistics provider, a broker, a freight provider, a fleet manager, and a map provider.

19. The method of claim 16 , wherein the vehicle comprises one or more of a wheeled vehicle, an autonomous vehicle, a delivery vehicle, a truck, a trailer, a train, an aircraft, a vessel, a transportation machine, and a space vehicle.

20. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one application comprises one or a combination of a web application, a mobile application, a cloud application, a computer application, an application programming interface (API), a computer program, and system software.

21. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises one or a combination of a computer, a smartphone, a tablet, a wearable device, a plugin, a computing device associated with the vehicle, and an Internet of Things (IoT) device.

The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one application is further configured to receive input from a dispatcher associated with the at least one business entity to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service.

The method of claim 16 , wherein in step c, one or a combination of the at least one terminal and the at least one application, is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.

25. The method of claim 16 , wherein one or more of steps (a) through (d) comprises using one of machine learning technology and blockchain technology.

26. The method of claim 16 , wherein the client comprises one or more of a beneficiary of the conveyance service and a demand-side user.

27. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises a geographical location module.

The method of claim 16 , wherein at least one application is further configured to automatically and repeatedly analyze one or more of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, by repeating steps (b) through (c) to pool the additional conveyance service to be provided by the vehicle until one or more of the updated vehicle capacity has been substantially filled and the at least one second geographical location has been reached.

The method of claim 16 , wherein prior to the vehicle completing the secured conveyance service, the at least one application is further configured to repeatedly analyze one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, to secure the additional conveyance service, based on one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the updated vehicle capacity, the updated vehicle-related data, and the updated geographical location data, that is dynamically updated in substantially real time.

The method of claim 16 , wherein in step c, the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

The method of claim 16 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one terminal and the at least one application is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.

The platform of claim 1 , wherein in step c, the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

A method within a network for monitoring for a client a vehicle performing a conveyance service from among conveyance service offerings communicated to the network by at least one business entity, wherein the vehicle is controlled by at least one representative associated with the at least one business entity that provides or supports the conveyance service, the method comprising:

(a) receiving within one or a combination of at least one application and at least one server in communication with the network, one or a combination of, in any order:

(i) the conveyance service offerings for conveyance from a first geographical location to at least one second geographical location, the conveyance service offerings comprising conveyance data, at least a portion of the conveyance data comprising information relating to one or more of a person or object to be conveyed and at least one vehicle detail;

(ii) vehicle-related data;

(iii) geographical location data; and

(iv) one or more client preference provided via at least one terminal, the at least one terminal having at least one input device and at least one display device;

(b) processing, in any order, one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data by:

(i) aggregating and standardizing one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data;

(ii) filtering, in any order, at least a portion of the aggregated and standardized one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the geographical location data, and the vehicle-related data to identify a filtered subset of conveyance service offerings using one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data; and

(iii) identifying one or more preferred conveyance service offering from the filtered subset of conveyance service offerings based on at least one weighted average of one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the vehicle-related data, and the geographical location data;

(c) securing the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering in response to an entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity via the at least one input device; and

(d) generating at least one visual representation on the at least one terminal, the at least one visual representation comprising a geographical map having superimposed thereon a vehicle symbol associated with the secured conveyance service, wherein the vehicle symbol is displayed at a position along a route associated with one or a combination of the secured conveyance service, an additional conveyance service, the first geographical location, and the at least one second geographical location, wherein the position of the vehicle symbol is dynamically updated on the geographical map to display progression of the secured conveyance service.

34. The method of claim 33 , wherein the conveyance service is one or a combination of services that support or provide transportation of a person or object from the first geographical location to the at least one second geographical location.

35. The method of claim 33 , wherein the at least one business entity comprises one or more of a goods supplier, a service provider, a dispatcher, a logistics provider, a broker, a freight provider, a fleet manager, and a map provider.

36. The method of claim 33 , wherein the vehicle comprises one or more of a wheeled vehicle, an autonomous vehicle, a delivery vehicle, a truck, a trailer, a train, an aircraft, a vessel, a transportation machine, and a space vehicle.

37. The method of claim 33 , wherein the at least one application comprises one or a combination of a web application, a mobile application, a cloud application, a computer application, an application programming interface (API), a computer program, and system software.

38. The method of claim 33 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises one or a combination of a computer, a smartphone, a tablet, a wearable device, a plugin, a computing device associated with the vehicle, and an Internet of Things (IoT) device.

39. The method of claim 33 , wherein the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the secured conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

40. The method of claim 33 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one application and that least one server, is further configured to receive input from a dispatcher associated with the at least one business entity to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service.

The method of claim 33 , wherein in step c, one or a combination of the at least one terminal, the at least one server, and the at least one application, is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.

42. The method of claim 33 , wherein one or more of steps (a) through (d) comprises using one of machine learning technology and blockchain technology.

43. The method of claim 33 , wherein the client comprises one or more of a beneficiary of the conveyance service and a demand-side user.

44. The method of claim 33 , wherein the at least one terminal comprises a geographical location module.

45. The method of claim 33 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one application and the at least one server, is further configured to automatically and repeatedly analyze one or more of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, by repeating steps (b) through (c) to pool the additional conveyance service to be provided by the vehicle until one or more of the updated vehicle capacity has been substantially filled and the at least one second geographical location has been reached.

The method of claim 33 , wherein prior to the vehicle completing the secured conveyance service, one or a combination of the at least one application and the at least one server, is further configured to repeatedly analyze one or a combination of the conveyance service offerings, the one or more client preference, updated vehicle capacity, updated vehicle-related data, and updated geographical location data, to secure the additional conveyance service, based on one or a combination of the one or more client preference, the updated vehicle capacity, the updated vehicle-related data, and the updated geographical location data, that is dynamically updated in substantially real time.

The method of claim 33 , wherein in step c, the at least one terminal is further configured to display one or more of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service, wherein one of the client and the at least one business entity uses the at least one input device to manually accept or decline one of the conveyance service and the additional conveyance service.

The method of claim 33 , wherein one or a combination of the at least one terminal, the at least one server, and the at least one application, is further configured to secure one of the conveyance service associated with the one or more preferred conveyance service offering and the additional conveyance service, in response to a manual entry by one of the client and the at least one business entity.
