Abstract

To support appropriate selection of a configuration of a cloud system. A computer system includes a processor 111 , a storage apparatus 112 and an input/output apparatus 141 , the storage apparatus 112 stores at least configuration condition information 132 indicating evaluation values for system configurations that can be constructed on cloud, the input/output apparatus 141 accepts a configuration request indicating a condition for a system configuration to be constructed on the cloud, the processor 111 obtains an evaluation value corresponding to the configuration request, compares the evaluation value corresponding to the configuration request with the evaluation values of the configuration condition information and determines a candidate for a system configuration to be proposed on the basis of a result of the comparison, and the input/output apparatus 141 outputs the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed.

Claims (52)

1. A computer system comprising:

a processor;

a storage apparatus; and

an input/output apparatus,

wherein the storage apparatus stores at least configuration condition information including a plurality of system configurations configured to be constructed in a cloud and evaluation values for each system configuration, the evaluation values including a logical failure tolerance value, a cloud configuration failure tolerance value, and a region failure tolerance value,

wherein the input/output apparatus accepts a configuration request indicating a condition for a system configuration to be constructed on the cloud,

wherein the processor is configured to:

obtain a first value relating to a first recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request,

obtain a second value relating to a second recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request,

determine, as a first determination, whether the cloud configuration failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value and whether the region failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value,

determine, as a second determination, whether the logical failure tolerance value is smaller than the second value,

determine a candidate for a system configuration to be proposed on a basis of a result of the first determination and the second

determination, and

wherein the input/output apparatus outputs the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed.

2. The computer system according to claim 1 ,

wherein the processor is configured to

obtain values of a plurality of items from the configuration request, including the first value and the second value,

narrow down configuration systems that are eligible to be candidates can from the system configurations that can be constructed using the obtained values of the plurality of items, and

rank the narrowed down system configurations on a basis of the values of the plurality of items to determine the system configuration to be proposed.

3. The computer system according to claim 2 ,

wherein the processor performs the ranking on a basis that a size of the system configuration to be proposed and a cost of the system configuration to be proposed.

4. The computer system according to claim 1 ,

wherein the configuration request indicates policies regarding a business type, a scale and availability of a system, and

wherein the processor converts the policies of the business type, the scale and the availability into values of a plurality of items, and

performs determinations, including the first determination and the second determination, of the values of the plurality of items with the evaluation values of the configuration condition information.

5. The computer system according to claim 4 ,

wherein the processor is configured narrow down system configurations to be candidates from the system configurations that are configured to be constructed on a basis of an evaluation value obtained from the availability and ranks the narrowed down system configurations on a basis of evaluation values obtained from the business type and the scale to determine the system configuration to be proposed.

6. The computer system according to claim 1 ,

wherein the input/output apparatus is configured to:

output the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed and the evaluation value corresponding to the configuration request, and

accept an input of a correction of the configuration request, and

wherein the processor is configured to determine the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed again in accordance with the correction.

7. The computer system according to claim 1 ,

wherein the input/output apparatus is configured to accept a construction execution request for the output candidate for the system configuration, and

wherein the processor is configured to execute system construction processing for a system configuration designated in the construction execution request.

8. A system configuration candidate output method to be performed by a computer system, the system configuration candidate output method comprising:

storing at least configuration condition information including a plurality of system configurations configured to be constructed in a cloud and evaluation values for each system configuration, the evaluation values including a logical failure tolerance value, a cloud configuration failure tolerance value, and a region failure tolerance value;

accepting a configuration request indicating a condition for a system configuration to be constructed on the cloud;

obtaining a first value relating to a first recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request;

obtaining a second value relating to a second recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request;

determining, as a first determination, whether the cloud configuration failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value and whether the region failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value;

determining, as a second determination, whether the logical failure tolerance value is smaller than the second value;

determining a candidate for a system configuration to be proposed on a basis of a result of the first determination and the second determination; and

outputting the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed.

A non-transitory storage medium storing a system configuration candidate output program, the system configuration candidate output program causing a computer system that stores at least configuration condition information including a plurality of system configurations configured to be constructed on cloud and evaluation values for each system configuration, the evaluation values including a logical failure tolerance value, a cloud configuration failure tolerance value, and a region failure tolerance value, to execute steps comprising:

accepting a configuration request indicating a condition for a system configuration to be constructed on the cloud;

obtaining a first value relating to a first recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request;

obtaining a second value relating to a second recovery policy corresponding to the configuration request;

determining, as a first determination, whether the cloud configuration failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value and whether the region failure tolerance value is smaller than the first value;

determining, as a second determination, whether the logical failure tolerance value is smaller than the second value;

determining a candidate for a system configuration to be proposed on a basis of a result of the first determination and the second determination; and

outputting the candidate for the system configuration to be proposed.
