Abstract

A system including an unmanned aerial vehicle. The unmanned aerial vehicle includes image sensors and one or more physical computer processors. The image sensors are configured to capture images and/or video segments. The one or more physical computer processors create a user ID and/or other identifying information for a user and/or a consumer when a user and/or consumer registers with an authentication component. The processors associate the user ID and/or the other identifying information with one or more client computing platforms. The processors store the user ID and/or the other identifying information associated with the user and/or the consumer on the authentication component. The processors associate the user and/or the consumer with one or more accounts. The processors authenticate the user and/or the consumer with the authentication component so that the user and/or the consumer is permitted to access a repository of the images and/or the video segments.

Claims (53)

1. A system comprising:

an unmanned aerial vehicle comprising:

image sensors configured to detect images and/or video segments, and

one or more physical computer processors configured by computer readable instructions to:

create a user ID and/or other identifying information for a user and/or a consumer when the user and/or the consumer registers with an authentication component;

associate the user ID and/or the other identifying information with one or more client computing platforms;

store the user ID and/or the other identifying information associated with the user and/or the consumer on the authentication component;

associate the user and/or the consumer with one or more accounts comprising a repository of the images and/or the video segments detected by the image sensors of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and

authenticate the user and/or the consumer with the authentication component so that the user and/or the consumer is permitted to access the one or more accounts.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more accounts are associated with a social network service or a messaging service.

3. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a consumption component configured to obtain consumption information associated with a user consuming the images and/or the video segments.

4. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a consumption component configured to track user engagement and/or viewing habits during a video segment and/or during at least one portion of the video segment.

5. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a preferences component configured to determine preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle based upon a first set of flight control settings and a second set of flight control settings.

6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the flight control settings are associated with a user that views the images and/or the video segments.

7. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a transmission component configured to transmit instructions to the unmanned aerial vehicle in real-time or near real-time in response to receiving current contextual information associated with detection of a current one of the images and/or the video segments.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the instructions include preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

9. A method comprising:

detecting images and/or video segments with image sensors of an unmanned aerial vehicle;

processing the images and/or video segments with one or more physical computer processors;

depositing the images and/or video segments on a repository;

creating a user ID and/or other identifying information, on an authentication component, for a user and/or a consumer when the user and/or the consumer registers with the authentication component;

associating the user ID and/or the other identifying information with one or more client computing platforms;

storing the user ID and/or the other identifying information associated with the user and/or the consumer on the authentication component;

associating the user and/or the consumer with one or more accounts; and

authenticating the user and/or the consumer with the authentication component so that the consumer has access to the one or more accounts that comprise the repository including the images and/or the video segments detected by the image sensors of the unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the one or more accounts include information associated with the user and/or the consumer.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the one or more accounts are associated with a social network service or a messaging service.

11. The method of claim 10 , further comprising:

tracking user engagement and/or viewing habits, with a consumer component, during a video segment and/or during at least one portion of the video segment.

12. The method of claim 9 further comprising:

determining preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle, with a preferences component, based upon a first set of flight control settings and a second set of flight control settings.

13. The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

associating the flight control settings with a user that views the images and/or the video segments.

14. The method of claim 9 further comprising:

transmitting instructions via a transmission component to the unmanned aerial vehicle in real-time or near real-time in response to receiving current contextual information associated with a detection of a current one of the images and/or the video segments.

15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the instructions include preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

16. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, comprising processor-executable routines that, when executed by a processor, facilitate a performance of operations at an unmanned aerial vehicle, the operations comprising operations to:

detect images and/or video segments with image sensors of the unmanned aerial vehicle;

create a user ID and/or other identifying information for a user and/or a consumer when the user and/or the consumer registers with an authentication component of the processor;

associate the user ID and/or the other identifying information with one or more client computing platforms;

store the user ID and/or the other identifying information associated with the user and/or the consumer on the authentication component;

associate the user and/or the consumer with one or more accounts that serve as a repository of the images and/or the video segments detected by the image sensors of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and

authenticate the user and/or the consumer with the authentication component so that the user and/or the consumer is permitted to access the one or more accounts, wherein user information is stored by a server, one or more client computing platforms, and/or other storage locations.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the one or more accounts are associated with a social network service or a messaging service.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the processor further comprises:

a consumption component configured to obtain consumption information associated with a user consuming the images and/or the video segments.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the processor further comprises:

a preferences component configured to determine preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle based upon a first set of flight control settings and a second set of flight control settings.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the processor further comprises:

a preferences component configured to determine preferences of flight control settings of the unmanned aerial vehicle based upon a first set of flight control settings and a second set of flight control settings.
