Abstract

A light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to embodiments includes processing circuitry configured to identify a tumor site included in a medical image, set an irradiation mode to the tumor site, the irradiation mode satisfying a criterion for a chemical reaction of a drug binding to a tumor by a light beam, and generate guidance information for guiding light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the set irradiation mode.

Claims (39)

1 . A light beam irradiation planning apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to:

identify a tumor site included in a medical image;

set an irradiation mode to the tumor site, the irradiation mode satisfying a criterion for a chemical reaction of a drug binding to a tumor by a light beam; and

generate guidance information for guiding light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the set irradiation mode.

2 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry sets, as the irradiation mode, any of an irradiation dose, an irradiation time, and an irradiation intensity in a range including the tumor site.

3 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry sets, as the irradiation mode, any of an irradiation dose, an irradiation time, and an irradiation intensity in an irradiation range group including a combination of a plurality of irradiation ranges.

4 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the processing circuitry sets the irradiation range group so that a part of each irradiation range overlaps with other irradiation ranges adjacent to the irradiation range.

5 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the processing circuitry sets the irradiation range group in which sizes of the irradiation ranges are substantially identical to each other.

6 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry sets the irradiation mode based on anatomical information corresponding to at least one of the tumor site or a surrounding area of the tumor site, and the criterion.

7 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the processing circuitry outputs information for identifying whether the irradiation mode in the range including the tumor site satisfies the criterion, based on an irradiation condition of the light beam irradiation device and the anatomical information.

8 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry generates, as the guidance information, a procedure of light beam irradiation by the light beam irradiation device.

9 . The light beam irradiation planning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry generates, as the guidance information, at least one of an irradiation range including the tumor site and an irradiation dose, an irradiation time, and an irradiation intensity in the irradiation range.

10 . A light beam irradiation supporting apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to:

acquire a preset setting irradiation mode to a tumor site included in a medical image;

acquire an actual irradiation mode indicating that the tumor site is actually irradiated; and

provide irradiation supporting information for supporting light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the setting irradiation mode and the actual irradiation mode.

11 . The light beam irradiation supporting apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein

the setting irradiation mode includes a distribution of an irradiation dose or an irradiation time set to a range including the tumor site,

the actual irradiation mode includes a distribution of an irradiation dose or an irradiation time, which is obtained by the range being actually irradiated, and

the irradiation supporting information is information that enables identification of a relationship between the distribution of the irradiation dose or the irradiation time included in the setting irradiation mode and the distribution of the irradiation dose or the irradiation time included in the actual irradiation mode.

12 . A medical information processing system comprising processing circuitry configured to:

identify a tumor site included in a medical image;

set an irradiation mode to the tumor site, the irradiation mode satisfying a criterion for a chemical reaction of a drug binding to a tumor by a light beam;

generate guidance information for guiding light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the set irradiation mode; and

provide the guidance information.

13 . A medical information processing system comprising processing circuitry configured to:

identify a tumor site included in a medical image;

set a setting irradiation mode to the tumor site, the setting irradiation mode satisfying a criterion for a chemical reaction of a drug binding to a tumor by a light beam;

acquire the setting irradiation mode;

acquire an actual irradiation mode indicating that the tumor site is actually irradiated; and

provide irradiation supporting information for supporting light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the setting irradiation mode and the actual irradiation mode.

14 . A medical information processing method comprising:

identifying a tumor site included in a medical image;

setting an irradiation mode to the tumor site, the irradiation mode satisfying a criterion for a chemical reaction of a drug binding to a tumor by a light beam; and

generating guidance information for guiding light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the set irradiation mode.

15 . A medical information processing method comprising:

acquiring a preset setting irradiation mode to a tumor site included in a medical image;

acquiring an actual irradiation mode indicating that the tumor site is actually irradiated; and

providing irradiation supporting information for supporting light beam irradiation by a light beam irradiation device based on the setting irradiation mode and the actual irradiation mode.
