Abstract

A method and system for managing user interactions with at least one product via an external platform are disclosed. When a threshold number of user inputs associated with user-specific data is detected, the system verifies the user's identity by sending a verification message through the platform's messaging application and receiving client-specific information in response. Upon successful verification, the system requests personal data relevant to the product. If the requested data includes confidential information, the system provides a link redirecting the user to a secure application, separate from the external platform, to securely transmit the data request and receive the confidential information.

Claims (85)

1. A method comprising:

identifying a plurality of inputs has reached a threshold number of inputs by a user device regarding at least one product via an external platform, wherein the plurality of inputs are associated with user-specific external platform data;

in response to identifying the threshold number of inputs, determining an identity of a user associated with the user device by:

transmitting, via a messaging application of the external platform, a verification message to the user device, wherein the verification message includes a request for client-specific information,

receiving, from the user device via the messaging application of the external platform, a verification response message that includes the client-specific information, and

determining that the identity of the user matches that of a client of an entity based on the received client-specific information; and

requesting personal data from the user by:

determining the personal data to be obtained from the user based on the at least one product,

generating a message to respond to the plurality of inputs that requests the personal data associated with the client based on the at least one product,

receiving the requested personal data associated with the at least one product,

determining the requested personal data includes confidential information associated with the at least one product,

in response to determining the requested personal data includes the confidential information, transmitting, to the user device, a link to redirect the user device to a secure application, wherein the secure application is different from the messaging application of the external platform, and

transmitting, to the user device via the secure application, the generated message that requests the personal data associated with the client.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

analyzing the user-specific external platform data to identify a username of the user that is specific to the external platform;

detecting an indicator associated with the identified username of the user that is specific to the external platform as corresponding to the client; and

mapping the indicator to client data relating to the client included in a client information database and an external platform information database, wherein the identity of the user is verified as the identity of the client based on mapping the indicator to the client data relating to the client.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

identifying a number of potential clients that include information within a threshold similarity to the user-specific external platform data, wherein the number of potential clients includes the client.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

monitoring content on multiple external platforms to retrieve two or more keywords associated with the entity;

determining that the two or more keywords exceeds a threshold number; and

in response to determining that the two or more keywords exceeds the threshold number, generating an alert relating to at least one key word of the two or more keywords.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

comparing the user-specific external platform data with information included in a client information database to identify the client.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

parsing the plurality of inputs to identify the user-specific external platform data.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a client information database includes information specific to each of multiple clients, and wherein an external platform information database includes client-specific social media data relating to the multiple clients obtained from user-specific external platform data included in inputs from multiple external platforms.

8. A system comprising:

one or more processors; and

one or more memories storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to perform a process comprising:

identifying a plurality of inputs has reached a threshold number of inputs by a user device regarding at least one product via an external platform, wherein the plurality of inputs are associated with user-specific external platform data;

in response to identifying the threshold number of inputs, determining an identity of a user associated with the user device by:

transmitting, via a messaging application of the external platform, a verification message to the user device, wherein the verification message includes a request for client-specific information,

receiving, from the user device via the messaging application of the external platform, a verification response message that includes the client-specific information, and

determining that the identity of the user matches that of a client of an entity based on the received client-specific information; and

requesting personal data from the user by:

determining the personal data to be obtained from the user based on the at least one product,

generating a message to respond to the plurality of inputs that requests the personal data associated with the client based on the at least one product,

receiving the requested personal data associated with the at least one product,

determining the requested personal data includes confidential information associated with the at least one product,

in response to determining the requested personal data includes the confidential information, transmitting, to the user device, a link to redirect the user device to a secure application, wherein the secure application is different from the messaging application of the external platform, and

transmitting, to the user device via the secure application, the generated message that requests the personal data associated with the client.

9. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the process further comprises:

analyzing the user-specific external platform data to identify a username of the user that is specific to the external platform;

detecting an indicator associated with the identified username of the user that is specific to the external platform as corresponding to the client; and

mapping the indicator to client data relating to the client included in a client information database and an external platform information database, wherein the identity of the user is verified as the identity of the client based on mapping the indicator to the client data relating to the client.

10. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the process further comprises:

identifying a number of potential clients that include information within a threshold similarity to the user-specific external platform data, wherein the number of potential clients includes the client.

11. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the process further comprises:

monitoring content on multiple external platforms to retrieve two or more keywords associated with the entity;

determining that the two or more keywords exceeds a threshold number; and

in response to determining that the two or more keywords exceeds the threshold number, generating an alert relating to at least one key word of the two or more keywords.

12. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the process further comprises:

comparing the user-specific external platform data with information included in a client information database to identify the client.

13. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the process further comprises:

parsing the plurality of inputs to identify the user-specific external platform data.
