Abstract

A method may include receiving, by a wireless device from a time sensitive network, TSN, translator device, one or more TSN parameters. The method may also include sending, by the wireless device to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a non access stratum, NAS, message indicating a request to establish a protocol data unit (PDU) session comprising the one or more TSN parameters. The method may further include receiving, by the wireless device from the AMF, a message indicating acceptance of the PDU session.

Claims (32)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device from a time sensitive network, TSN, translator device, one or more TSN parameters;

sending, by the wireless device to an access and mobility management function, AMF, a non access stratum, NAS, message indicating a request to establish a packet data unit (PDU) session comprising the one or more TSN parameters; and

receiving, by the wireless device from the AMF, a message indicating acceptance of the PDU session.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more TSN parameters comprise a priority parameter.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more TSN parameters comprise a TSN stream identification parameter.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the NAS message comprises a port identity associated with the wireless device.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the NAS message indicates that a PDU session type of the request is for the TSN.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the NAS message comprises an identifier of a TSN bridge.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request is to establish the PDU session for a TSN bridge.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request is to establish the PDU session for a TSN end station.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request comprises a stream reservation protocol (SRP) message.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more TSN parameters are for a stream of data packets.

11. A method comprising:

receiving, by an access and mobility management function, AMF, from a wireless device, a non access stratum, NAS, message indicating a request to establish a packet data unit (PDU) session comprising one or more time sensitive network (TSN) parameters; and

sending, by the AMF to the wireless device, a message indicating acceptance of the PDU session.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more TSN parameters comprise a priority parameter.

13. The method of claim 11 , wherein the one or more TSN parameters comprise a TSN stream identification parameter.

14. The method of claim 11 , wherein the NAS message comprises a port identity associated with the wireless device.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the NAS message indicates that a PDU session type of the request is for the TSN.

16. The method of claim 11 , wherein the NAS message comprises an identifier of a TSN bridge.

17. The method of claim 11 , wherein the request is to establish the PDU session for a TSN bridge.

18. The method of claim 11 , wherein the request is to establish the PDU session for a TSN end station.

19. The method of claim 11 , wherein the request comprises a stream reservation protocol (SRP) message.

20. A system, comprising:

a wireless device comprising: one or more first processors and first memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more first processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive, from a time sensitive network, TSN, translator device, one or more TSN parameters;

send, to an access and mobility management function, AMF, a non access stratum, NAS, message indicating a request to establish a packet data unit (PDU) session comprising the one or more TSN parameters; and

receive, from the AMF, a message indicating acceptance of the PDU session; and

the AMF, wherein the AMF comprises: one or more second processors and second memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more second processors, cause the AMF to:

receive, from the wireless device, the NAS message indicating the request to establish the PDU session comprising the one or more TSN parameters; and

send, to the wireless device, the message indicating acceptance of the PDU session.
