Abstract

A controller receives a message from a first user terminal of user terminals belonging to a chat group. In a case where the type of the message is a normal message, the controller transmits the message to each of the user terminals. In a case where the type of the message is selection of the game icon, the controller generates a game message according to logic corresponding to the game icon and transmits the game message to each of the user terminals.

Claims (66)

1. A game control method comprising:

transmitting, to terminals of a plurality of users, data for displaying at least a first game icon for launching a game;

receiving data from a first terminal of a first user indicating selection of the first game icon;

in response to receiving the data from the first terminal of the first user indicating selection of the first game icon, transmitting, to at least a second terminal of a second user other than the first user, data for displaying information in a chat screen to indicate game information according to the first game icon selected by the first user;

receiving data from the first terminal and the second terminal indicating entry to the game, wherein the data indicating entry to the game includes a first input from the first terminal and a second input from the second terminal;

in response to receiving the data indicating entry to the game, conducting the game, according to the first game icon selected by the first user, to select a result from among the first input and the second input; and

transmitting, to the first terminal and the second terminal, data for displaying the selected result of the game, wherein the selected result of the game is displayed in the chat screen.

2. The game control method according to claim 1 , wherein

the result is selected at random from among the first input and the second input.

3. The game control method according to claim 1 , wherein

the data for displaying the information in the chat screen is transmitted to one or more additional terminals,

the data indicating entry to the game is received from the first terminal, the second terminal, and the one or more additional terminals, and

the result is selected from among the first input, the second input, and one or more additional inputs received from the one or more additional terminals.

4. The game control method according to claim 3 , wherein

the result is selected at random from among the first input, the second input, and the one or more additional inputs.

5. The game control method according to claim 1 , wherein

the second user selects whether to enter the game.

6. The game control method according to claim 1 , further comprising

in response to receiving the data from the first terminal of the first user indicating selection of the first game icon, determining whether the plurality of users, other than the first user, includes a non-login user; and

in response to determining that the plurality of users includes the non-login user, transmitting a push notification to a terminal of the non-login user.

7. The game control method according to claim 1 , wherein

the result is selected upon receiving the data indicating entry to the game from the first terminal and the second terminal or upon an entry allowance period of time ending.

8. The game control method according to claim 1 , wherein

the first and second inputs are displayed on the chat screen in the first and second terminals.

9. A server comprising:

a processor programmed to:

transmit, to terminals of a plurality of users, data for displaying at least a first game icon for launching a game,

receive data from a first terminal of a first user indicating selection of the first game icon,

in response to receiving the data from the first terminal of the first user indicating selection of the first game icon, transmit, to at least a second terminal of a second user other than the first user, data for displaying information in a chat screen to indicate game information according to the first game icon selected by the first user,

receive data from the first terminal and the second terminal indicating entry to the game, wherein the data indicating entry to the game includes a first input from the first terminal and a second input from the second terminal,

in response to receiving the data indicating entry to the game, conduct the game, according to the first game icon selected by the first user, to select a result from among the first input and the second input, and

transmit, to the first terminal and the second terminal, data for displaying the selected result of the game, wherein the selected result of the game is displayed in the chat screen.

10. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the result is selected at random from among the first input and the second input.

11. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the data for displaying the information in the chat screen is transmitted to one or more additional terminals,

the data indicating entry to the game is received from the first terminal, the second terminal, and the one or more additional terminals, and

the result is selected from among the first input, the second input, and one or more additional inputs received from the one or more additional terminals.

12. The server according to claim 11 , wherein

the result is selected at random from among the first input, the second input, and the one or more additional inputs.

13. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the second user selects whether to enter the game.

14. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the processor is further programmed to:

in response to receiving the data from the first terminal of the first user indicating selection of the first game icon, determine whether the plurality of users, other than the first user, includes a non-login user, and

in response to determining that the plurality of users includes the non-login user, transmit a push notification to a terminal of the non-login user.

15. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the result is selected upon receiving the data indicating entry to the game from the first terminal and the second terminal or upon an entry allowance period of time ending.

16. The server according to claim 9 , wherein

the first and second inputs are displayed on the chat screen in the first and second terminals.

17. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing thereon a program causing a processor to execute:

transmitting, to terminals of a plurality of users, data for displaying at least a first game icon for launching a game;

receiving data from a first terminal of a first user indicating selection of the first game icon;

in response to receiving the data from the first terminal of the first user indicating selection of the first game icon, transmitting, to at least a second terminal of a second user other than the first user, data for displaying information in a chat screen to indicate game information according to the first game icon selected by the first user;

receiving data from the first terminal and the second terminal indicating entry to the game, wherein the data indicating entry to the game includes a first input from the first terminal and a second input from the second terminal;
