Abstract

A system and method to manage online reviews. A determination is made that a user device is logged into a set of one or more websites comprising a first website. A dynamic redirection container is transmitted that redirects the user device to the first website, wherein a posted review associated with a merchant is received at the first website via the dynamic redirection container. Based on the posted review associated with the merchant, a weighted factor associated with at least a portion of a plurality of websites configured to receive one or more reviews associated with the merchant is updated. An adjustment of the weighted factor associated with at least the portion of the plurality of websites is received.

Claims (31)

1. A method comprising:

determining, by a computing system, that a user device is logged into a plurality of websites comprising a first website and a second website;

transmitting, by the computing system, via a computer network, a dynamic redirection container that redirects the user device to the first website, wherein a weighted event factor associated with the first website of the plurality of websites comprises a first priority indicator; and wherein the first priority indicator is greater than a second priority indicator associated with the second website, and wherein a posted review associated with a merchant is received at the first website via the dynamic redirection container;

updating, by the computing system, based on the posted review associated with the merchant, the weighted event factor associated with at least a portion of the plurality of websites configured to receive one or more reviews associated with the merchant; and

receiving, by the computing system, from a merchant system, an adjustment of the weighted event factor associated with at least the portion of the plurality of websites.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the user device is located at a location associated with the merchant.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising detecting a transaction, executed using the user device, associated with the merchant.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the weighted event factor associated with the first website is below a threshold value.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.

7. A system comprising:

a memory to store instructions; and

a processing device operatively coupled to the memory, the processing device to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:

determining that a user device is logged into a plurality of websites comprising a first website and a second website;

transmitting, via a computer network, a dynamic redirection container that redirects the user device to the first website, wherein a weighted event factor associated with the first website of the plurality of websites comprises a first priority indicator; and wherein the first priority indicator is greater than a second priority indicator associated with the second website, and wherein a posted review associated with a merchant is received at the first website via the dynamic redirection container;

updating based on the posted review associated with the merchant, the weighted event factor associated with at least a portion of the plurality of websites configured to receive one or more reviews associated with the merchant; and

receiving from a merchant system, an adjustment of the weighted event factor associated with at least the portion of the plurality of websites.

8. The system of claim 7 , the operations further comprising determining the user device is located at a location associated with the merchant.

9. The system of claim 7 , the operations further comprising detecting a transaction, executed using the user device, associated with the merchant.

10. The system of claim 7 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.

11. The system of claim 7 , the operations further comprising determining the weighted event factor associated with the first website is below a threshold value.

12. The system of claim 7 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.

13. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to perform operations comprising:

determining that a user device is logged into a plurality of websites comprising a first website and a second website;

transmitting, via a computer network, a dynamic redirection container that redirects the user device to the first website, wherein a weighted event factor associated with the first website of the plurality of websites comprises a first priority indicator; and wherein the first priority indicator is greater than a second priority indicator associated with the second website, and wherein a posted review associated with a merchant is received at the first website via the dynamic redirection container;

updating, based on the posted review associated with the merchant, the weighted event factor associated with at least a portion of the plurality of websites configured to receive one or more reviews associated with the merchant; and

receiving, from a merchant system, an adjustment of the weighted event factor associated with at least the portion of the plurality of websites.

14. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , the operations further comprising determining the user device is located at a location associated with the merchant.

15. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.

16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , the operations further comprising determining the weighted event factor associated with the first website is below a threshold value.

17. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the weighted event factor comprises a current amount of reviews associated with the merchant that are posted at the first website.
