Abstract

Beverage systems and kits and methods of using the same. A beverage system of the present disclosure includes a container configured to retain a beverage, the container having an outer wall and an internal threaded section above a non-threaded inner wall section; a threaded gasket having a threaded portion and an outer curved profile, the threaded portion configured to engage the internal threaded section of the container when coupled thereto; and a lid having an extension portion extending from a cover portion, the extension portion having a seal positioned thereon, the seal configured to engage the non-threaded inner wall section of the container when coupled thereto.

Claims (33)

1. A beverage container retainment system, comprising:

a container having a threaded section; and

a gasket having a threaded element and a curved element having a top portion, a transitioning portion, and a side portion, the curved element extending from a relative top of the gasket to a relative side of the gasket,

wherein the threaded element comprises a first material adapted to threadably engage the threaded section and removably couple the gasket to the container, and the curved element comprises a second material different from the first material,

the top portion of the curved element being adapted to receive and contact at least a portion of a beverage container while the threaded gasket is coupled to the container such that an upper rim of the beverage container is exposed in its entirety above the relative top of the gasket and the beverage container will not fall out of the container.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first material comprises a plastic material or a metal material.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the second material comprises a rubber material or a polymeric material.

4. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a size adapter removably received within the container.

5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the size adapter comprises a metal material.

6. The system of claim 4 , wherein the size adapter is received between a bottom wall of the container and the relative top of the gasket.

7. The system of claim 4 , wherein the size adapter is adapted to receive a bottom perimeter ring of the beverage container.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the size adapter includes a circumferential recessed portion to receive the bottom perimeter ring of the beverage container.

9. The system of claim 4 , wherein when the size adapter is received within the container, the gasket is coupled to the container, and the beverage container is a 12 oz. beverage can, the gasket is adapted to contact the beverage container and secure the beverage container within the container.

10. The system of claim 9 , wherein when the size adapter is removed from the container, the gasket is coupled to the container, and the beverage container is a 16 oz. beverage can, the gasket is adapted to contact the beverage container and secure the beverage container within the container.

11. The system of claim 1 , wherein the container is vacuum-sealed.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the container is vacuum-sealed below the threaded section.

13. A beverage container retainment system, comprising:

a container that is vacuum-sealed and having a threaded section; and

a gasket having a threaded element and a curved element with a top portion, a transitioning portion, and a side portion, the curved element extending from a relative top of the gasket to a relative side of the gasket,

wherein the threaded element comprises a first material adapted to threadably engage the threaded section and removably couple the gasket to the container, and the curved element comprises a second material different from the first material,

the top portion of the curved element being adapted to receive and contact at least a portion of a beverage container such that the beverage container will not fall out of the container and an upper rim of the beverage container is exposed in its entirety above the relative top of the gasket when the beverage container is positioned within the container.

14. The system of claim 13 , further comprising:

a size adapter removably received within the container.

15. The system of claim 14 , wherein when the size adapter is received within the container, the gasket is coupled to the container, and the beverage container is a 12 oz. beverage can, the gasket is adapted to contact the beverage container and secure the beverage container within the container.

16. The system of claim 14 , wherein when the size adapter is removed from the container, the gasket is coupled to the container, and the beverage container is a 16 oz. beverage can, the gasket is adapted to contact the beverage container and secure the beverage container within the container.

17. The system of claim 13 , wherein the container further includes an outer wall that defines a grip portion thereon.

18. A beverage container retainment system, comprising:

a container having a threaded section; and

a gasket having a threaded element and a top-to-side transitioning element having a top portion, a transitioning portion, and a side portion, the top-to-side transitioning element extending from a relative top of the gasket to a relative side of the gasket,

wherein the threaded element comprises a first material adapted to threadably engage the threaded section and removably couple the gasket to the container, and the top-to-side transitioning element comprises a second material different from the first material,

the top portion of the top-to-side transitioning element being adapted to receive and contact at least a portion of a beverage container such that the beverage container will not fall out of the container while the threaded gasket is coupled to the container and an upper rim of the beverage container is exposed in its entirety above the relative top of the gasket when the beverage container is positioned within the container.

19. The system of claim 18 , wherein the beverage container is a beverage can.
