Abstract

Seating arrangements for a vehicle cabin of a passenger transport system. The seating arrangement includes a first seat group and a second seat group. The first seat group has a first seat and a second seat bordering a cabin wall of the vehicle cabin. The first seat includes a foot support structure that extends on a lateral side of the second seat between the second seat and the cabin wall. The second seat group has a third seat bordering an aisle of the vehicle cabin. The third seat is laterally adjacent to and adjoins the second seat along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.

Claims (26)

1. A seating arrangement for a vehicle cabin, the seating arrangement comprising:

a first seat group having a first window seat and a second window seat bordering a cabin wall of the vehicle cabin, the first window seat including a first window seat foot support structure that extends on a lateral side of the second window seat between the second window seat and the cabin wall, the second window seat including a second window seat armrest and a second window seat utility element adjacent to the second window seat, the first window seat foot support structure being provided within the second window seat utility element; and

a second seat group having a third aisle seat bordering an aisle of the vehicle cabin and laterally adjacent and adjoining to the second window seat along a shared boundary with the second window seat in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin, the third aisle seat having a third aisle seat armrest arranged at the shared boundary, the second window seat armrest being laterally and longitudinally offset to the third aisle seat armrest.

2. The seating arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the first window seat has a first seat axis and the second window seat has a second seat axis that extends approximately parallel to the first seat axis.

3. The seating arrangement of claim 2 , wherein the first seat axis and the second seat axis are angled outwardly with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.

4. The seating arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the second window seat armrest is arranged in front of the third aisle seat armrest in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.

5. The seating arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the first window seat and the second window seat are arranged one behind another in a staggered manner in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.

6. The seating arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the third aisle seat faces a different direction than the first window seat and the second window seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.

7. The seating arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the first window seat and the second window seat are arranged laterally offset with respect to the third aisle seat.

8. An aircraft cabin, comprising:

a cabin wall; and

a seating arrangement comprising a first seat group and second seat group, the first seat group having a first window seat and a second window seat bordering the cabin wall, the first window seat including a first window seat foot support structure that extends on a lateral side of the second window seat between the second window seat and the cabin wall, the second window seat including a second window seat lateral armrest and a second window seat utility element laterally adjacent to the second window seat, the first window seat foot support structure being provided within the second window seat side utility element, the second seat group having a third aisle seat bordering an aisle of the aircraft cabin and laterally adjacent and adjoining to the second window seat along a shared boundary with the second window seat in the longitudinal direction of the aircraft cabin, the third aisle seat having a third aisle seat armrest arranged at the shared boundary, the second window seat armrest being laterally and longitudinally offset to the third aisle seat armrest.

9. The aircraft cabin of claim 8 , wherein the first window seat has a first seat axis and the second window seat has a second seat axis that extends approximately parallel to the first seat axis.

10. The aircraft cabin of claim 9 , wherein the first seat axis and the second seat axis are angled outwardly with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle aircraft cabin.

11. The aircraft cabin of claim 8 , wherein the second window seat armrest is arranged in front of the third aisle seat armrest in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle aircraft cabin.

12. The aircraft cabin of claim 8 , wherein the first window seat and the second window seat are arranged one behind another in a staggered manner in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle aircraft cabin.

13. The aircraft cabin of claim 8 , wherein the third aisle seat faces a different direction than the first window seat and the second window seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle aircraft cabin.

14. The aircraft cabin of claim 8 , wherein the first window seat and the second window seat are arranged laterally offset with respect to the third aisle seat.

15. A seating arrangement for a vehicle cabin, the seating arrangement comprising:

a first seat group having a first seat and a second seat bordering a cabin wall of the vehicle cabin as window seats, the first seat having a first seat foot support structure and a first seat utility element arranged laterally adjacent thereto, the second row seat having a second seat armrest and a second seat utility element associated therewith and arranged laterally adjacent on one side of the second seat between the second seat and the cabin wall, the second seat utility element comprising an entertainment device facing towards and associated with the first seat and the first seat foot support structure; and

a second seat group having a third seat bordering an aisle of the vehicle cabin and laterally adjacent and adjoining to the second seat on an opposite side of the second seat along a shared boundary with the second seat in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin, the third seat having a third seat armrest arranged at the shared boundary, the second seat armrest being laterally and longitudinally offset to the third seat armrest.

16. The seating arrangement of claim 15 , wherein the first seat has a first seat axis and the second seat has a second seat axis that extends approximately parallel to the first seat axis.

17. The seating arrangement of claim 16 , wherein the first seat axis and the second seat axis are angled outwardly with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.
