Abstract

Disclosed are systems, servers and methods for providing a novel framework that enables the unique cataloging and organization of audio files, upon which audio rendering experiences can be created and provided to requesting users, whether the users are individuals or third-party partners. The disclosed framework enables audio files to be stripped down, uniquely stored, and then stitched together in a novel manner that previously did not exist within the computing arts. The disclosed systems and methods, therefore, provide a novel platform where audio is not just provided to consumers, but audio experiences are compiled from various types of audio formats and types in a unique, dynamically determined manner for a listening user.

Claims (34)

1. A method, comprising:

analyzing, by a computing device, an audio file, and determining attributes of the audio file, the attributes comprising information related to features of the audio file;

determining, using the computing device, portions of the audio file that are eligible for overlaying and portions that are ineligible;

obtaining, by the computing device, mixdown parameters, the mixdown parameters including instructions as to whether to insert one or more skip stops or metadata into an output;

generating, using the computing device, a mixdown between the audio file and a second audio file based on the mixdown parameters, the mixdown comprising ending the second audio file at a post; and

providing, using the computing device, a rendering of the mixdown.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein post is a soft post.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the post is a hard post.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving input parameters from a user, the input parameters corresponding to at least some of the features and characteristics of the audio file.

5. The method of claim 1 , further including at least one multidimensional database that comprises a plurality of data structures for specific types of the audio features.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mixdown comprises song content and voice-over content.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the audio file comprises third party content.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mixdown parameters include at least one of a frequency filter, a limiter, a cross fade process, an attenuation process, an equalization process, or a dynamics processing.

9. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium tangibly encoded with computer-executable instructions, that when executed by a computing device, perform a method comprising:

analyzing, by the computing device, an audio file, and determining attributes of the audio file, the attributes comprising information related to features of the audio file;

determining, using the computing device, portions of the audio file that are eligible for overlaying and portions that are ineligible;

obtaining, by the computing device, mixdown parameters, the mixdown parameters include instructions as to whether to insert one or more skip stops or metadata into an output;

generating, using the computing device, a mixdown between the audio file and a second audio file based on the mixdown parameters, the mixdown comprising ending the second audio file at a post; and

providing, using the computing device, a rendering of the mixdown.

10. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein post is a soft post.

11. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the post is a hard post.

12. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , further comprising receiving input parameters from a user, the input parameters corresponding to at least some of the features and characteristics of the audio file.

13. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , further including at least one multidimensional database that comprises a plurality of data structures for specific types of the audio features.

14. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the mixdown comprises song content and voice-over content.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the audio file comprises third party content.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the mixdown parameters include at least one of a frequency filter, a limiter, a cross fade process, an attenuation process, an equalization process, or a dynamics processing.

17. A device comprising:

a processor configured to:

analyze an audio file, and determining attributes of the audio file, the attributes comprising information related to features of the audio file;

determine portions of the audio file that are eligible for overlaying and portions that are ineligible;

obtain mixdown parameters, the mixdown parameters include instructions as to whether to insert one or more skip stops or metadata into an output;

generate a mixdown between the audio file and a second audio file based on the mixdown parameters, the mixdown comprising ending the second audio file at a post; and

provide a rendering of the mixdown.

18. The device of claim 17 , wherein the post is one of a soft post or hard post.
