Abstract

A property is identified about which to gather information and a vehicle is deployed to a location associated with the property. A path is determined for the vehicle and the vehicle gathers real-time data associated with the property while traveling the path. The real-time data is compared to previously-gathered data to determine a portion of the property that is damaged.

Claims (39)

1. A method comprising:

deploying a vehicle to a property to gather data related to a loss;

determining a path for the vehicle to gather data related to the loss;

causing the vehicle to gather real-time data associated with a property while traveling the path;

comparing the real-time data to previously-gathered data associated with the property; and

determining a portion of the property that is damaged in the real-time data based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

2. The method of claim 1 , comprising determining a portion of the property that is left based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

3. The method of claim 1 , comprising determining that additional data is required relating to the property.

4. The method of claim 3 , comprising causing at least one vehicle to gather additional real-time data based on the determination that additional data is required.

5. The method of claim 1 , comprising:

storing the real-time data to a pool,

wherein the pool comprises data associated with a plurality of entities.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the one or more vehicles comprises two or more vehicles, and wherein the data from the two or more vehicles is stored in the pool.

7. The method of claim 1 , comprising authenticating to a database to access the previously-gathered data.

8. A computing device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:

deploy a vehicle to a property to gather data related to a loss;

determine a path for the vehicle to gather data related to the loss;

cause the vehicle to gather real-time data associated with a property while traveling the path;

compare the real-time data stored to previously-gathered data associated with the property; and

determine a portion of the property that is damaged in the real-time data based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

9. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions cause the computing device to determine a portion of the property that is left based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

10. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions cause the computing device to determine that additional data is required relating to the property.

11. The computing device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions further cause the computing device to cause at least one vehicle to gather additional real-time data based on the determination that additional data is required.

12. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions further cause the computing device to store the real-time data to a pool, wherein the pool comprises data associated with a plurality of entities.

13. The computing device of claim 12 , wherein the one or more vehicles comprises two or more vehicles operated by two or more entities, wherein the data from the two or more vehicles is stored in the pool.

14. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions further cause the computing device to authenticate to a database to access the previously-gathered data.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause operations comprising:

deploying a vehicle to a property to gather data related to a loss;

determining a path for the vehicle to gather data related to the loss;

causing the vehicle to gather real-time data associated with a property while traveling the path;

comparing the real-time data to previously-gathered data associated with the property; and

determining a portion of the property that is damaged in the real-time data based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise determining a portion of the property that is left based on the comparison of the real-time data to the previously-gathered data.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise determining that additional data is required relating to the property.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprise causing at least one vehicle to gather additional real-time data based on the determination that additional data is required.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise storing the real-time data to a pool, wherein the pool comprises data associated with a plurality of entities.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise authenticating to a database to access the previously-gathered data.
