SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONVERTING EMAILS TO CHAT CONVERSATIONS
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for automatically converting one or more emails to one or more chat conversations and for automatically converting a chat conversation to an email thread.

15 . A computer-implemented method for converting email threads to chat messages, comprising:
receiving an email thread;
parsing the email thread to determine a participant;
creating a collaborative team comprising the participant; and
pre-populating the collaborative team with one or more chat messages containing a portion of the email thread.
16 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein parsing the email thread to determine the recipient comprises parsing a text of the email thread for a name, a partial name, or an alias.
17 . The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , further comprising mapping a contact list to the name, the partial name, or the alias to determine the participant.
18 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein parsing the email thread to determine the recipient comprises parsing a FROM, a TO, a CC or a BCC field.
19 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , further comprising:
parsing the email thread for files, links, notes, events or tasks; and
pre-populating the collaborative team with the files, links, notes, events or tasks.
20 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein parsing the email thread comprises parsing the email thread for context clues.
21 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , further comprising:
determining that the participant does not have a collaboration account; and
in response to determining that the participant does not have a collaboration account, transmitting an invitation to a collaboration system.
22 . A system for converting email threads to chat messages, comprising:
a memory storing instructions; and
a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause:
receiving an email thread;
parsing the email thread to determine a participant;
creating a collaborative team comprising the participant;
pre-populating the collaborative team with one or more chat messages containing a portion of the email thread.
23 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing a text of the email thread for a name, a partial name or an alias.
24 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the instructions further comprise mapping a contact list to the name, the partial name or the alias to determine the participant.
25 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing a FROM, a TO, a CC or a BCC field.
26 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further comprise:
parsing the email thread for files, links, notes, events or tasks; and
pre-populating the collaborative team with the files, links, notes, events or tasks.
27 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing the email thread for context clues.
28 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further comprise:
determining that the participant does not have a collaboration account; and
in response to determining that the participant does not have a collaboration account, transmitting an invitation to the collaboration system.
29 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions for converting email threads to chat messages that, when executed by a processor, cause:
receiving an email thread;
parsing the email thread to determine a participant;
creating a collaborative team comprising the participant; and
pre-populating the collaborative team with one or more chat messages containing a portion of the email thread.
30 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 29 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing a text of the email thread for a name, a partial name or an alias.
31 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 30 , wherein the instructions further comprise mapping a contact list to the name, the partial name or the alias to determine the participant.
32 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 29 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing a FROM, a TO, a CC or a BCC field.
33 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 29 , wherein the instructions further comprise:
parsing the email thread for files, links, notes, events or tasks; and
pre-populating the collaborative team with the files, links, notes, events or tasks.
34 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 29 , wherein the instructions further comprise parsing the email thread for context clues.
