Abstract

Methods and systems may incorporate voice interaction and other audio interaction to facilitate access to prescription related information and processes. Particularly, voice/audio interactions may be utilized to achieve authentication to access prescription-related information and action capabilities. Additionally, voice/audio interactions may be utilized in performance of processes such as obtaining prescription refills and receiving reminders to consume prescription products.

Claims (32)

1. A computer-implemented method implemented via one or more processors, the method comprising:

obtaining an indication of an activity associated with a prescription product;

obtaining a voice recording of a user via an electronic computing device associated with the user; and

analyzing the obtained voice recording based upon one or more recording quality metrics to determine whether the voice recording is suitable for playback as a configured reminder to perform the activity associated with the prescription product.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a similarity metric of a lexical content of the obtained voice recording to the activity associated with the prescription product.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a determination of whether a lexical content of the obtained voice recording contains protected health information (PHI) of the user.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise an audio quality or background noise level of the obtained voice recording.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising using the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder to perform the activity in response to determining that the voice recording is suitable for playback as the configured reminder.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , wherein analyzing the obtained voice recording comprises determining that a lexical content of the obtained voice recording comprises protected health information (PHI) of the user,

and wherein using the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder comprises obtaining an authentication from the user via the electronic computing device.

7. A computing system comprising:

one or more processors; and

one or more non-transitory memories storing computer executable instructions that, when executed via the one or more processors, cause the computing system to:

obtain an indication of an activity associated with a prescription product;

obtain a voice recording of a user via an electronic computing device associated with the user; and

analyze the obtained voice recording based upon one or more recording quality metrics to determine whether the voice recording is suitable for playback as a configured reminder to perform the activity associated with the prescription product.

8. The computing system of claim 7 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a similarity metric of a lexical content of the obtained voice recording to the activity associated with the prescription product.

9. The computing system of claim 7 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a determination of whether a lexical content of the obtained voice recording contains protected health information (PHI) of the user.

10. The computing system of claim 7 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise an audio quality or background noise level of the obtained voice recording.

11. The computing system of claim 7 , wherein the instructions, when executed via the one or more processors, further cause the computing system to use the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder to perform the activity in response to determining that the voice recording is suitable for playback as the configured reminder.

12. The computing system of claim 11 , wherein the instructions to analyze the obtained voice recording comprise instructions to determine that a lexical content of the obtained voice recording comprises protected health information (PHI) of the user,

and wherein the instructions to use the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder comprise instructions to obtain an authentication from the user via the electronic computing device.

13. One or more non-transitory computer readable media storing computer executable instructions that, when executed via one or more processors, cause one or more computers to:

obtain an indication of an activity associated with a prescription product;

obtain a voice recording of a user via an electronic computing device associated with the user; and

analyze the obtained voice recording based upon one or more recording quality metrics to determine whether the voice recording is suitable for playback as a configured reminder to perform the activity associated with the prescription product.

14. The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 13 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a similarity metric of a lexical content of the obtained voice recording to the activity associated with the prescription product.

15. The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 13 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise a determination of whether a lexical content of the obtained voice recording contains protected health information (PHI) of the user.

16. The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 13 , wherein the one or more recording quality metrics comprise an audio quality or background noise level of the obtained voice recording.

17. The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed via the one or more processors, further cause the one or more computers to use the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder to perform the activity in response to determining that the voice recording is suitable for playback as the configured reminder.

18. The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 17 , wherein the instructions to analyze the obtained voice recording comprise instructions to determine that a lexical content of the obtained voice recording comprises protected health information (PHI) of the user,

and wherein the instructions to use the obtained voice recording as the configured reminder comprise instructions to obtain an authentication from the user via the electronic computing device.
