Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing dynamic, prioritized spectrum utilization management. The system includes at least one monitoring sensor, at least one data analysis engine, at least one application, a semantic engine, a programmable rules and policy editor, a tip and cue server, and/or a control panel. The tip and cue server is operable utilize the environmental awareness from the data processed by the at least one data analysis engine in combination with additional information to create actionable data.

Claims (32)

1. A system for spectrum monitoring in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one monitoring sensor operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment and create measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

at least one data analysis engine for analyzing the measured data; and

at least one server computer or at least one cloud-based computing system;

wherein the at least one data analysis engine is operable to learn the electromagnetic environment;

wherein the at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system is operable to use analyzed data from the at least one data analysis engine to create actionable data; and

wherein the actionable data includes a recommendation to optimize resources to improve performance of at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system is operable to activate an alarm and/or provide at least one report based on the actionable data.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the alarm or the at least one report is provided via text message and/or electronic mail.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the at least one monitoring sensor is mounted on a drone, a vehicle, in or on a street light, in or on a traffic pole, and/or on top of a building.

5. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a geolocation engine operable to determine the location of at least one signal of interest.

6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the location of the at least one signal of interest is displayed on a map.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one monitoring unit autonomously monitors the electromagnetic environment.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one monitoring unit monitors the electromagnetic environment in real time.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the actionable data is created in real time.

10. A system for spectrum monitoring in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one monitoring sensor operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment and create measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

at least one data analysis engine for analyzing the measured data; and

at least one server computer or at least one cloud-based computing system;

wherein the at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system is operable to use analyzed data from the at least one data analysis engine to create actionable data; and

wherein one or more of the at least one monitoring sensor is mounted on a drone, a vehicle, in or on a street light, in or on a traffic pole, and/or on top of a building.

11. The system of claim 10 , wherein the at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system is operable to activate an alarm and/or provide at least one report based on the actionable data.

12. The system of claim 10 , wherein the actionable data includes a recommendation to optimize resources to improve performance of at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device.

13. The system of claim 10 , further comprising a geolocation engine operable to determine the location of at least one signal of interest.

14. The system of claim 10 , wherein the at least one monitoring unit monitors the electromagnetic environment in real time.

15. The system of claim 10 , wherein the actionable data is created in real time.

16. A method for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

monitoring the electromagnetic environment using at least one monitoring sensor and creating measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

analyzing the measured data using at least one data analysis engine, thereby creating analyzed data;

at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system using analyzed data from the at least one data analysis engine to create actionable data; and

the at least one server computer or the at least one cloud-based computing system activating an alarm and/or provide at least one report based on the actionable data.

17. The method of claim 16 , further comprising a geolocation engine determining the location of at least one signal of interest.
