Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing dynamic, prioritized spectrum utilization management. The system includes at least one monitoring sensor, at least one data analysis engine, at least one application, a semantic engine, a programmable rules and policy editor, a tip and cue server, and/or a control panel. The tip and cue server is operable utilize the environmental awareness from the data processed by the at least one data analysis engine in combination with additional information to create actionable data.

Claims (41)

1. A system for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one data analysis engine for analyzing measured data based on the electromagnetic environment; and

at least one server;

wherein the at least one data analysis engine includes a detection engine, wherein the detection engine is operable to automatically detect at least one signal using at least one mask;

wherein the at least one mask is created with a user-defined frequency range;

wherein the at least one mask is based on Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) streaming data;

wherein the at least one mask includes a mask utilization rating created by the detection engine;

wherein the at least one data analysis engine and the at least one server are in network communication;

wherein the at least one server is operable to use analyzed data from the at least one data analysis engine to create actionable data; and

wherein the detection engine is operable to utilize the at least one mask for machine learning for autonomous detection of signals.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one server is operable to activate an alarm and/or provide at least one report based on the actionable data.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one data analysis engine further includes an identification engine, a classification engine, and/or a geolocation engine.

4. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a resource brokerage application, wherein the resource brokerage application is operable to determine policies and/or reasoning to optimize a device and/or a resource.

5. The system of claim 1 , further including a certification and compliance application, wherein the certification and compliance application is operable to determine if at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device is behaving according to at least one rule and/or at least one policy.

6. The system of claim 1 , further including a survey occupancy application, wherein the survey occupancy application is operable to determine occupancy in frequency bands.

7. The system of claim 1 , further comprising at least one monitoring sensor, wherein the at least one monitoring sensor is operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment and create the measured data based on the electromagnetic environment.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the at least one monitoring sensor includes at least one antenna, at least one antenna array, at least one radio server, and/or at least one software defined radio.

9. A method for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

analyzing measured data from the electromagnetic environment, thereby creating analyzed data;

creating at least one mask based on a user-defined frequency range and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) streaming data;

automatically detecting at least one signal based on the analyzed data using the at least one mask; and

creating actionable data based on the analyzed data;

wherein the at least one mask includes a mask utilization rating created by a detection engine.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the actionable data is created by at least one server computer.

11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the measured data is analyzed by at least one data analysis engine.

12. The method of claim 9 , further comprising activating an alarm and/or providing at least one report based on the actionable data.

13. The method of claim 12 , further comprising sending the alarm and/or providing the at least one report by text message or email.

14. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining a location of an emitter of the at least one signal.

15. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining policies and/or reasoning to optimize a device and/or a resource.

16. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining if at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device is behaving according to at least one rule and/or at least one policy.

17. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining occupancy in frequency bands.

18. The method of claim 9 , further comprising at least one monitoring sensor monitoring the electromagnetic environment and creating the measured data based on the electromagnetic environment.

19. A method for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

measuring data from the electromagnetic environment;

analyzing the measured data from the electromagnetic environment, thereby creating analyzed data;

creating at least one mask based on a user-defined frequency range and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) streaming data;

detecting at least one signal from the analyzed data using the at least one mask;

creating actionable data based on the analyzed data;

activating an alarm and/or providing at least one report based on the actionable data; and

utilizing the at least one mask for machine learning for autonomous detection of signals.

20. The method of claim 19 , further comprising determining a location of an emitter of the at least one signal.
