TRANSMITTING DEVICE AND BUFFER CONTROL METHOD

1 . A transmitting device comprising:

a buffer configured to store the transmission data;

a first layer processor configured to execute processing for a first layer on the transmission data;

a second layer processor configured to execute processing for a second layer on the transmission data, the second layer being lower layer of the first layer; and

a transmitter configured to transmit the transmission data processed by the first layer processor and the second layer processor; and

a receiver configured to receive first information and second information, the first information being information for setting a first time for discarding the transmission data used by the first layer, the second information being information associated with the second layer and used to configure a second time for discarding the transmission data, wherein

the first layer processor is configured to discard the transmission data stored in the buffer when the second discard time expires.

2 . The transmitting device according to claim 1 , wherein

the receiver is further configured to receive the first information and the second information via a Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling.

3 . The transmitting device according to claim 1 , wherein

the first layer is a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, and

the second layer is a medium access control (MAC) layer.

4 . The transmitting device according to claim 1 , wherein

the second time is lower than the first time.

5 . The transmitting device according to claim 1 , wherein

the transmitting device is a mobile terminal.

6 . A base station device that controls a terminal device, the base station device comprising:

a memory; and

a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:

transmit first information and second information, the first information being information for setting a first time for discarding the transmission data used by a first layer, the second information being information associated with a second layer which is lower layer of the first layer and used to configure a second time for discarding the transmission data, wherein

the second time is used for discarding transmission data stored in a buffer relating with the first layer of the terminal device.

7 . A wireless communication system comprising:

a terminal; and

a base station configured to transmit first information and second information, the first information being information for setting a first time for discarding the transmission data used by a first layer, the second information being information associated with a second layer and used to configure a second time for discarding the transmission data, wherein

the terminal includes:

a buffer configured to store the transmission data;

a first layer processor configured to execute processing for the first layer on the transmission data,

a second layer processor configured to execute processing for the second layer on the transmission data, and

a transmitter configured to transmit the transmission data processed by the first layer processor and the second layer processor; and

a receiver configured to receive the first information and the second information, wherein

the first layer processor is configured to discard the transmission data stored in the buffer when the second discard time expires.
