Abstract

An 4,4′-naphthalene-1,5-diylbis(diazene-2,1-diyl)bis(2-methylphenol) compound, its synthesis, and its use as an antioxidant agent.

Claims (2)

1. A method of inhibiting free radicals in a patient comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a 4,4′-naphthalene-1,5-diylbis(diazene-2,1-diyl)bis(2-methylphenol) compound having the formula I:

2. A method of promoting an antioxidant activity in a subject, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a 4,4′-naphthalene-1,5-diylbis(diazene-2,1-diyl)bis(2-methylphenol) having the formula I:
