Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing dynamic, prioritized spectrum utilization management. The system includes at least one monitoring sensor, at least one data analysis engine, at least one application, a semantic engine, a programmable rules and policy editor, a tip and cue server, and/or a control panel. The tip and cue server is operable utilize the environmental awareness from the data processed by the at least one data analysis engine in combination with additional information to create actionable data.

Claims (40)

1. A system for creating actionable data for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one monitoring sensor operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment and create measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

at least one data analysis engine operable to analyze the measured data; and

at least one server;

wherein the at least one data analysis engine includes a classification engine and an identification engine;

wherein the classification engine is operable to classify a source of the at least one signal of interest;

wherein the identification engine is operable to identify the source of the at least one signal of interest;

wherein the server is operable to use analyzed data from the at least one data analysis engine to create the actionable data; and

wherein the actionable data includes parameters to modify for at least one base station.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the location of the source of the at least one signal of interest is the at least one base station.

3. The system of claim 1 , further comprising at least one learning engine operable to learn the electromagnetic environment.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the learning engine is operable to reevaluate or update the electromagnetic environment after a problem is detected.

5. The system of claim 3 , wherein the learning engine uses learning techniques including machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning (DL), neural networks (NNs), artificial neural networks (ANNs), support vector machines (SVMs), Markov decision process (MDP), and/or natural language processing (NLP).

6. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a geolocation engine operable to identify a location of the source of the at least one signal of interest.

7. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a certification and compliance application operable to determine adherence of the at least one base station to at least one rule or at least one policy.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the classification engine is operable to classify the source of the at least one signal of interest using machine learning (ML) or a neutral network (NN).

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the classification engine is operable to classify the source of the at least one signal of interest autonomously.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the classification engine is operable to classify the source of the at least one signal of interest continuously.

11. A system for creating actionable data for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one monitoring sensor creating measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

at least one data analysis engine operable to analyze the measured data; and

at least one application and/or at least one server;

wherein the at least one data analysis engine includes a classification engine;

wherein the classification engine is operable to classify a source of at least one signal of interest autonomously using machine learning (ML); and

wherein the at least one application and/or the at least one server is operable to determine if the source of the at least one signal of interest is behaving according to at least one rule and/or at least policy; and

wherein the at least one application and/or the at least one server is operable to create the actionable data based on the at least one rule and/or the at least one policy and the measured data.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the source of the at least one signal is at least one base station.

13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the actionable data includes parameters to modify for at least one base station.

14. The system of claim 11 , further comprising a resource brokerage application, wherein the resource brokerage application is operable to optimize resources based on the actionable data to improve performance of at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the classification engine is operable to classify the source of the at least one signal of interest continuously.

16. A method for creating actionable data for spectrum management in an electromagnetic environment comprising:

at least one monitoring sensor creating measured data based on the electromagnetic environment;

at least one data analysis engine analyzing the measured data; and

classifying a source of at least one signal of interest autonomously using machine learning (ML); and

determining if the source of the at least one signal of interest is behaving according to at least one rule and/or at least policy; and

creating actionable data based on the at least one rule and/or the at least one policy and the measured data.

17. The method of claim 16 , wherein the source of the at least one signal is at least one base station.

18. The method of claim 16 , wherein the actionable data includes parameters to modify for at least one base station.

19. The method of claim 16 , further comprising optimizing resources based on the actionable data to improve performance of at least one customer application and/or at least one customer device.

20. The method of claim 16 , wherein the source of the at least one signal of interest is classified continuously.
