Abstract

Wireless communications may be used to support data processing. Data processing may be performed based on a priority indication (or lack thereof) in a message for processing data. At least one parameter may be used to determine a priority associated with data processing if a message does not comprise a priority indication.

Claims (83)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device, first downlink control information (DCI) with DCI format 1_2:

comprising a priority indicator field indicating a first priority value;

indicating a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission with the first priority value; and

comprising a first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value;

receiving a second DCI indicating with DCI format 1 1:

indicating a second PDSCH transmission;

configured without comprising a second priority field; and

comprising a second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value;

determining a default priority value of zero for the second PDSCH transmission, based on the DCI format 1_1 being configured without comprising the second priority field; and

based on comparing the first priority value for the first PDSCH transmission and the default priority value of zero for the second PDSCH transmission, transmitting a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) information corresponding to the first PDSCH.

The method of claim 1 , further comprising based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determining that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 2 , further comprising determining whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 4 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 3 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 8 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the processing the first PDSCH comprises at least one of:

receiving the first PDSCH transmission;

performing channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffering the first PDSCH transmission.

11. The method of claim 8 , further comprising receiving:

the first PDSCH transmission; and

the second PDSCH transmission.

12. The method of claim 1 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the processing the first PDSCH comprises at least one of:

receiving the first PDSCH transmission;

performing channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffering the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 12 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 14 , further comprising based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determining that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 1 , further comprising prioritizing processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

17. The method of claim 16 , wherein the processing the first PDSCH comprises at least one of:

receiving the first PDSCH transmission;

performing channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffering the first PDSCH transmission.

The method of claim 16 , further comprising determining whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

19. The method of claim 16 , further comprising based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determining that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

20. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive first downlink control information (DCI) with DCI format 1 2:

comprising a priority indicator field indicating a first priority value;

indicating a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission with the first priority value; and

comprising a first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value;

receive a second DCI indicating with DCI format 1 1:

indicating a second PDSCH transmission;

configured without comprising a second priority field; and

comprising a second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value;

determine a default priority value of zero for the second PDSCH transmission, based on the DCI format 1_1 being configured without comprising the second priority field; and

based on comparing the first priority value for the first PDSCH transmission and the default priority value of zero for the second PDSCH transmission, transmit a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) information corresponding to the first PDSCH.

21. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to, based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determine that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 21 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to determine whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 23 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 22 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to determine whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 26 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 27 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

29. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the instructions that cause the wireless device to prioritize processing cause the wireless device to perform at least one of:

receive the first PDSCH transmission;

perform channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffer the first PDSCH transmission.

30. The wireless device of claim 27 , wherein the instructions that cause the wireless device to prioritize processing cause the wireless device to perform at least one of:

receive the first PDSCH transmission;

perform channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffer the first PDSCH transmission.

31. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a base station transmits the second PDSCH transmission before transmitting the first PDSCH transmission.

32. The wireless device of claim 31 , wherein the instructions that cause the wireless device to prioritize processing cause the wireless device to perform at least one of:

receive the first PDSCH transmission;

perform channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffer the first PDSCH transmission.

33. The wireless device of claim 31 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

34. The wireless device of claim 33 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to, based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determine that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to prioritize processing of the first PDSCH transmission, by dropping processing the second PDSCH transmission, when a second HARQ-ACK information feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is out-of-order compared with a first HARQ-ACK information feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.

36. The wireless device of claim 35 , wherein the instructions that cause the wireless device to prioritize processing cause the wireless device to perform at least one of:

receive the first PDSCH transmission;

perform channel estimation based on a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the first PDSCH transmission; or

buffer the first PDSCH transmission.

37. The wireless device of claim 35 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to determine whether the first PDSCH transmission has higher priority, or the second PDSCH transmission has higher priority based on comparing the default priority value of the second PDSCH transmission and the first priority value indicated by the first priority field of the first DCI for the first PDSCH transmission.

38. The wireless device of claim 35 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to, based on the first HARQ-ACK feedback timing value and the second HARQ-ACK feedback timing value, determine that the second HARQ-ACK feedback for the second PDSCH transmission is an out-of-order HARQ feedback compared with the first HARQ-ACK feedback for the first PDSCH transmission.
