Antigen Binding Proteins that Bind PD-L1
There is disclosed anti-PD-L1 IgG class antibodies that have an improved ability to be manufactured at higher yields. More specifically, there is disclosed human antibodies that bind PD-L1, PD-L1-binding fragments that can be manufactured at higher yields.

A host cell comprising (1) a vector comprising a nucleic acid that encodes a PD-L1-binding polypeptide wherein the polypeptide comprises a heavy chain variable domain comprising a CDR1 domain, a CDR2 domain, and a CDR3 domain as set forth in the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 5, SEQ ID NO: 6, and SEQ ID NO: 7, respectively, and comprises a light chain variable domain comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO. 2 or SEQ ID NO. 3; or (2) a first vector comprising a nucleic acid that encodes a heavy chain variable domain comprising a CDR1 domain, a CDR2 domain, and a CDR3 domain as set forth in the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 5, SEQ ID NO: 6, and SEQ ID NO: 7, respectively and a second vector comprising a light chain variable domain comprising an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO. 2 or SEQ ID NO. 3.
20 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the cell is a mammalian host cell.
21 . The host cell of claim 20 , wherein the mammalian host cell is a Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell.
22 . The host cell of claim 20 , wherein the mammalian host cell is a lymphoid cell.
23 . The host cell of claim 22 , wherein the lymphoid cell is Y0, NSO or Sp20 cell.
24 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide comprises a heavy chain/light chain variable domain amino acid sequence combination of either SEQ ID NO. 1/SEQ ID NO. 2 or SEQ ID NO. 1/SEQ ID NO. 3.
25 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide comprises a heavy chain/light chain variable domain amino acid sequence combination of SEQ ID NO. 1/SEQ ID NO. 2.
26 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide is an anti-PD-L1 fully human antibody.
27 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide is an anti-PD-L1 Fab fully human antibody fragment.
28 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide is anti-PD-L1 single chain human antibody having the heavy chain variable domain and the light chain variable domain connected via a peptide linker.
29 . The host cell of claim 19 , wherein the polypeptide is an anti-PD-L1 IgG1 antibody or an PD-L1 IgG4 antibody.
30 . A method of producing a PD-L1-binding polypeptide, wherein the method comprises culturing the host cell of any one of claims 19 to 29 in a culture medium.
31 . A method of producing a PD-L1-binding polypeptide, wherein the method comprises culturing the host cell of claim 19 in a culture medium and recovering the polypeptide from the host cell culture medium.
