Abstract

The techniques may include receiving patient data of patients of a service facility, each patient assigned to a service unit. In addition, the techniques may include inputting patient data into a classification model trained to output classifications. The techniques may include determining a classification for each patient. Moreover, the techniques may include assigning each patient to a patient group based at least in part on a classification common with members of the patient group. The techniques may include determining a recommendation associated with at least one of: (1) servicing a first service resource associated with a third service unit, or (2) procuring a second service resource associated with a fourth service unit. This recommendation can be based at least in part on the classifications. Further, the techniques may include presenting on a user device of a patient care provider for coordinating patient care among service units of the service facility.

Claims (47)

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:

receiving, by a service visualization system, a plurality of patient data respectively associated with a plurality of patients of a service facility, the service facility including a plurality of service units, each patient of the plurality of patients assigned to a service unit of the plurality of service units;

inputting, by the service visualization system, the plurality of patient data into a classification model of the service visualization system, the classification model trained to output a classification for a patient, the classification being associated with at least one of: (1) a predicted admission to a first service unit of the plurality of service units, or (2) a predicted discharge from a second service unit of the plurality of service units;

determining, by the classification model, a classification for each patient of the plurality of patients;

assigning, by the service visualization system, each respective patient to a respective patient group based at least in part on the classification of the respective patient, the classification being common with members of the respective patient group;

determining, by the service visualization system, a recommendation associated with at least one of: (1) servicing a first service resource associated with a third service unit, or (2) procuring a second service resource associated with a fourth service unit, the recommendation based at least in part on the classifications for the plurality of patients; and

providing, by the service visualization system, the recommendation for presentation on a user device of a patient care provider for use in coordinating patient care among the plurality of service units of the service facility.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the classification of each patient of the plurality of patients is based at least in part on a predicted future condition of each patient.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the first service resource or the second service resource corresponds to a bed, the first service resource or the second service resource being one of a plurality of service resources associated with the third service unit or the fourth service unit, and wherein a resource status data indicates whether the service resource is at least one of: (I) clean, (II) needs cleaning, (III) occupied, or (IV) unoccupied.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the presentation of the recommendation on the user device includes a visual indicator associated with the recommendation.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein servicing the first service resource associated with the third service unit comprises:

scheduling a cleaning of the first service resource, following a discharge of a particular patient from the third service unit.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein procuring the second service resource associated with the fourth service unit comprises:

transferring a particular patient from a current service resource associated with a current service unit to the second service resource associated with the fourth service unit.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 6 , wherein the current service unit is associated with a first service facility and the fourth service unit is associated with a second service facility, wherein the first service facility and the second service facility are separate facilities.

8. A service visualization system, comprising:

a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions; and

a processor configured to access the memory and execute the computer-executable instructions to at least:

receive a plurality of patient data respectively associated with a plurality of patients of a service facility, the service facility including a plurality of service units, each patient of the plurality of patients assigned to a service unit of the plurality of service units;

input the plurality of patient data into a classification model of the service visualization system, the classification model trained to output a classification for a patient, the classification being associated with at least one of: (1) a predicted admission to a first service unit of the plurality of service units, or (2) a predicted discharge from a second service unit of the plurality of service units;

determine, by the classification model, a classification for each patient of the plurality of patients;

assign each respective patient to a respective patient group based at least in part on the classification of the respective patient, the classification being common with members of the respective patient group;

determine a recommendation associated with at least one of: (1) servicing a first service resource associated with a third service unit, or (2) procuring a second service resource associated with a fourth service unit, the recommendation based at least in part on the classifications for the plurality of patients; and

provide the recommendation for presentation on a user device of a patient care provider for use in coordinating patient care among the plurality of service units of the service facility.

9. The service visualization system of claim 8 , wherein the classification of each patient of the plurality of patients is based at least in part on a predicted future condition of each patient.

10. The service visualization system of claim 8 , wherein

the first service resource or the second service resource correspond to a bed, the first service resource or the second service resource being one of a plurality of service resources associated with the third service unit or the fourth service unit, and wherein a resource status data indicates whether the service resource is at least one of: (I) clean, (II) needs cleaning, (III) occupied, or (IV) unoccupied.

11. The service visualization system of claim 8 , wherein the presentation of the recommendation on the user device includes a visual indicator associated with the recommendation.

12. The service visualization system of claim 8 , wherein servicing the first service resource associated with the third service unit comprises:

scheduling a cleaning of the first service resource, following a discharge of a particular patient from the third service unit.

13. The service visualization system of claim 8 , wherein procuring the second service resource associated with a fourth service unit comprises:

transferring a particular patient from a current service resource associated with a current service unit to the second service resource associated with the fourth service unit.

14. The service visualization system of claim 13 , wherein the current service unit is associated with a first service facility and the fourth service unit is associated with a second service facility, wherein the first service facility and the second service facility are separate facilities.

15. One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage devices comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more computer systems of a service visualization system, cause the one or more computer systems to perform operations, comprising:
