Abstract

An example system including a vehicle multi-zone monitoring platform, including a network layout circuit structured to interpret a virtual network layout for a vehicle having a multi-zone network; a network characterization circuit structured to interpret network activity for the vehicle; and a network analysis circuit structured to determine a virtual network map in response to the virtual network layout and the network activity, and to provide the virtual network map to a user interface.

Claims (33)

1. A system, comprising:

a vehicle multi-zone monitoring platform, comprising:

a network layout circuit structured to interpret a virtual network layout for a vehicle having a multi-zone network;

a network characterization circuit structured to interpret network activity for the vehicle;

a network analysis circuit structured to determine a virtual network map in response to the virtual network layout and the network activity, and to provide the virtual network map to a user interface;

a network configuration circuit structured to interpret a network adjustment value, and to update the virtual network map in response to the network adjustment value; and

a zoned architecture rollout circuit structured to build a zoned architecture communication scheme in response to the network adjustment value.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the virtual network map comprises an interactive network activity depiction.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the network analysis circuit is further structured to provide a network detail value in response to a user selection on the user interface.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the network detail value comprises at least one of:

a network traffic description;

a zoned architecture communication scheme;

a network statistics value; or

a network event notification.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the network analysis circuit is further structured to determine a network impact value in response to the network adjustment value, and to provide the network impact value to the user interface.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the zoned architecture rollout circuit is further structured to communicate the zoned architecture communication scheme to a network management controller of at least one of the vehicle or an offset vehicle.

7. A method, comprising:

interpreting a virtual network layout for a vehicle having a multi-zone network;

interpreting network activity for the vehicle;

determining a virtual network map in response to the virtual network layout and the network activity;

providing the virtual network map to a user interface;

interpreting a network adjustment value;

updating the virtual network map in response to the network adjustment value; and

building a zoned architecture communication scheme in response to the network adjustment value.

8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising providing the virtual network map as an interactive network activity depiction.

9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising providing a network detail value in response to a user selection on the user interface.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the network detail value comprises at least one of:

a network traffic description;

a zoned architecture communication scheme;

a network statistics value; or

a network event notification.

11. The method of claim 7 , further comprising determining a network impact value in response to the network adjustment value, and providing the network impact value to the user interface.

12. The method of claim 7 , further comprising communicating the zoned architecture communication scheme to a network management controller of at least one of the vehicle or an offset vehicle.
