OPTICAL ELEMENT DRIVING MECHANISM
An optical element driving mechanism is provided. The optical element driving mechanism includes a movable portion used for connecting an optical element, a fixed portion, and a driving assembly used for driving the movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion. The movable portion is movable relative to the fixed portion.
1 . An optical element driving mechanism, comprising:
a movable portion used for connecting an optical element;
a fixed portion, wherein the movable portion is movable relative to the fixed portion; and
a driving assembly used for driving the movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion.
2 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein:
the movable portion is polygonal;
the movable portion comprises a first movable portion side surface, a second movable portion side surface, a third movable portion side surface, a fourth movable portion side surface, a first movable portion corner, a second movable portion corner, a third movable portion corner, a fourth movable portion corner, a first side surface, a second side surface, and a third side surface;
the first movable portion side surface is adjacent to the second movable portion side surface;
the second movable portion side surface is adjacent to the third movable portion side surface;
the third movable portion side surface is adjacent to the fourth movable portion side surface;
the fourth movable portion side surface is adjacent to the first movable portion side surface;
the first movable portion corner is between the first movable portion side surface and the second movable portion side surface;
the second movable portion corner is between the second movable portion side surface and the third movable portion side surface;
the third movable portion corner is between the third movable portion side surface and the fourth movable portion side surface;
the fourth movable portion corner is between the fourth movable portion side surface and the first movable portion side surface;
the fixed portion comprises a bottom;
the first side surface, the second side surface, and the third side surface face the bottom;
the first side surface and the second side surface face different directions;
the second side surface and the third side surface face different directions;
the first side surface and the third side surface face an identical direction.
3 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
the movable portion comprises a protrusion;
the protrusion is adjacent to the first side surface;
the protrusion is disposed on the second side surface and the third side surface;
the protrusion comprises a plurality of glue recesses and a rib;
the rib is disposed between the glue recesses.
4 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 3 , wherein:
the bottom comprises a fourth side surface, a fifth side surface, and a sixth side surface facing the movable portion;
the fourth side surface faces the first side surface;
the sixth side surface faces the third side surface;
the fourth side surface and the first side surface are parallel;
the sixth side surface and the third side surface are parallel;
the fourth side surface and the fifth side surface face in different directions;
the fifth side surface and the sixth side surface face in different directions;
the fourth side surface and the sixth side surface face in an identical direction;
the second side surface and the fifth side surface face in different directions;
a first distance is between the first side surface and the fourth side surface;
a second distance is between the third side surface and the sixth side surface;
the first distance and the second distance are different;
the second side surface is exposed from the movable portion when viewed in a first direction;
the fifth side surface is exposed from the bottom when viewed in the first direction;
a normal vector of the second side surface is not perpendicular or parallel to the first direction;
a normal vector of the fifth side surface is not perpendicular or parallel to the first direction.
5 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 4 , further comprising:
a damping element disposed between the movable portion and the fixed portion; and
a guiding assembly disposed on the fixed portion and used for guiding a moving direction of the movable relative to the fixed portion;
wherein:
the damping element is disposed on the protrusion;
the damping element is in direct contact with the first side surface, the second side surface, the third side surface, the fourth side surface, the fifth side surface, and the sixth side surface;
the damping element is disposed in the glue recesses;
the damping element is in direct contact with the rib;
the first distance is less than the second distance;
the guiding assembly comprises a first guiding element and a second guiding element;
the first guiding element and the second guiding element are disposed on a virtual plane;
the virtual plane is parallel to the main axis.
6 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein:
the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the movable portion;
a second magnetic element disposed on the movable portion;
a first driving coil disposed on the fixed portion; and
a second driving coil disposed on the fixed portion;
the first magnetic element is disposed on the first movable portion side surface;
the second magnetic element is disposed on the third movable portion side surface;
the first guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface;
the main axis penetrates the virtual plane.
7 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the first movable portion side surface, comprising:
a first magnetic element side surface;
a second magnetic element side surface adjacent to the first magnetic element side surface;
a third magnetic element side surface adjacent to the second magnetic element side surface; and
a fourth magnetic element side surface adjacent to the third magnetic element side surface;
a second magnetic element disposed on the third movable portion side surface, comprising:
a fifth magnetic element side surface;
a sixth magnetic element side surface adjacent to the second magnetic element side surface;
a seventh magnetic element side surface adjacent to the third magnetic element side surface; and
an eighth magnetic element side surface adjacent to the fourth magnetic element side surface;
a first driving coil disposed on the fixed portion; and
a second driving coil disposed on the fixed portion.
8 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising:
a first magnetic permeable element disposed between the first magnetic element and the movable portion; and
a second magnetic permeable element disposed between the second magnetic element and the movable portion;
wherein:
the first guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the first magnetic permeable element is disposed on the first magnetic element side surface;
the first magnetic permeable element is disposed on the second magnetic element side surface;
the first magnetic permeable element is not disposed on the third magnetic element side surface;
the first magnetic permeable element is not disposed on the fourth magnetic element side surface;
the first magnetic element and the first guiding element are not fully separated by the first magnetic permeable element.
9 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 8 , wherein:
the fourth magnetic element side surface faces the first driving coil;
the second magnetic permeable element is disposed on the fifth magnetic element side surface;
the second magnetic permeable element is disposed on the sixth magnetic element side surface;
the second magnetic permeable element is not disposed on the seventh magnetic element side surface;
the second magnetic permeable element is not disposed on the eighth magnetic element side surface;
the second magnetic element and the second guiding element are not fully separated by the second magnetic permeable element.
10 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 9 , wherein:
the eighth magnetic element side surface faces the second driving coil;
the first magnetic element side surface, the fifth magnetic element side surface, and the fourth movable side surface face an identical direction;
the third magnetic element side surface, the seventh magnetic element side surface, and the second movable side surface face an identical direction.
11 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the fixed portion;
a second magnetic element disposed on the fixed portion;
a first driving coil disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface; and
a second driving coil disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the optical element driving mechanism further comprises:
a third magnetic element disposed on the first movable portion side surface; and
a fourth magnetic element disposed on the third movable portion side surface.
12 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 11 , wherein:
the third magnetic element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the fourth magnetic element is disposed on the third movable portion corner;
the first guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface;
the first guiding element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the second guiding element is disposed on the third movable portion corner;
the first magnetic element and the third magnetic element are disposed on an identical side of the virtual plane;
the second magnetic element and the fourth magnetic element are disposed on an identical side of the virtual plane;
a length of the third magnetic element in a third axis is less than a length of the first magnetic element in a fourth axis;
a length of the fourth magnetic element in the third axis is less than a length of the second magnetic element in the fourth axis;
the third axis and the fourth axis are perpendicular;
the main axis penetrates the virtual plane.
13 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the fixed portion; and
a first driving coil disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the optical element driving mechanism further comprises:
a third magnetic element disposed on the first movable portion side surface;
a fourth magnetic element disposed on the third movable portion side surface; and
a first magnetic permeable element disposed on the fixed portion.
14 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 13 , wherein:
the third magnetic element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the fourth magnetic element is disposed on the second movable portion corner;
the first guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the first guiding element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the second guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion corner.
15 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 14 , wherein:
the first magnetic permeable element and the first driving coil are disposed on opposite sides of the first magnetic element;
the movable portion and the first magnetic element are disposed on opposite sides of the first driving coil;
the third magnetic element at least partially overlaps the first magnetic permeable element in a third axis;
the fourth magnetic element at least partially overlaps the first magnetic permeable element in the third axis;
the third magnetic element and the fourth magnetic element are arranged in a fourth axis;
the third axis and the fourth axis are perpendicular;
a minimum distance between the third magnetic element and the fourth magnetic element is less than a length of the first magnetic permeable element in the fourth axis.
16 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the first movable portion side surface;
a second magnetic element disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface;
a first driving coil disposed on the fixed portion; and
a second driving coil disposed on the fixed portion.
17 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 16 , wherein:
the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are disposed on and identical side of the virtual plane;
the first driving coil and the second driving coil are disposed on and identical side of the virtual plane;
the first guiding element is disposed on the second movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the third movable portion side surface;
the first guiding element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the second guiding element is disposed on the third movable portion corner;
the main axis does not penetrate the virtual plane.
18 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the driving assembly comprises:
a first magnetic element disposed on the fixed portion;
a second magnetic element disposed on the fixed portion;
a first driving coil disposed on the first movable portion side surface; and
a second driving coil disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface;
the optical element driving mechanism further comprises:
a third magnetic element disposed on the third movable portion side surface; and
a fourth magnetic element disposed on the second movable portion side surface.
19 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 18 , wherein:
the first guiding element is disposed on the first movable portion side surface;
the second guiding element is disposed on the fourth movable portion side surface;
the first guiding element is disposed on the first movable portion corner;
the second guiding element is disposed on the third movable portion corner;
the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are disposed on an identical side of the virtual plane;
the first driving coil and the second driving coil are disposed on an identical side of the virtual plane;
the third magnetic element and the fourth magnetic element are disposed on an identical side of the virtual plane;
a length of the third magnetic element is less than a length of the first magnetic element in a third axis;
a length of the fourth magnetic element is less than a length of the second magnetic element in a fourth axis;
the third axis and the fourth axis are perpendicular;
the main axis does not penetrate the virtual plane;
the third magnetic element is disposed on the third movable portion corner;
the fourth magnetic element is disposed on the first movable portion corner.
20 . The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 19 , wherein:
the movable portion further comprises a first disposing recess and a second disposing recess;
the first disposing recess concaves from the third movable portion side surface;
the second disposing recess concaves from the second movable portion side surface;
the third magnetic element is disposed in the first disposing recess;
the fourth magnetic element is disposed in the second disposing recess;
the third magnetic element does not protrude from the third movable portion side surface;
the fourth magnetic element does not protrude from the second movable portion side surface;
the first disposing recess is at the third movable portion corner;
the second disposing recess is at the first movable portion corner.
