MEDICAL DEVICES AND METHODS
A vapor delivery needle is provided that may include any of a number of features. One feature of the energy delivery probe is that it can apply condensable vapor energy to tissue, such as a prostrate, to shrink, damage, or denature tissues of the prostate. Methods associated with use of the energy delivery probe are also covered.

16 . A vapor generator comprising:
a syringe including:
a barrel defining an opening; and
a plunger, wherein the plunger includes a first magnet; and
a generator body including a shaft having a second magnet configured to interact with the first magnet of the plunger;
wherein upon advancement of the shaft toward the opening via interaction between the first magnet and the second magnet, fluid moves from the barrel, through the opening and, upon retraction of the shaft away from the opening via interaction between the first magnet and the second magnet, fluid moves from a fluid reservoir, through the opening, and into the barrel to refill the syringe.
17 . The vapor generator of claim 16 , wherein, upon advancement of the shaft, fluid flows into a vapor delivery device.
18 . The vapor generator of claim 17 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to advance the shaft to prime the vapor delivery device and, after priming the vapor delivery device but before delivering vapor to a patient, automatically retract the shaft to refill the barrel.
19 . The vapor generator of claim 17 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to advance the shaft until the vapor generator detects a positive pressure about a threshold pressure.
20 . . The vapor generator of claim 16 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to automatically retract the shaft to refill the syringe without operator intervention.
21 . The vapor generator of claim 20 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to automatically retract the shaft upon the plunger reaching an end of the barrel having the opening.
22 . The vapor generator of claim 16 , further comprising a display device having a user interface, wherein the user interface includes a button for an operator to selectively refill the barrel.
23 . The vapor generator of claim 16 , further comprising a first valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the first valve allows fluid to flow into the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing out of the barrel.
24 . The vapor generator of claim 23 , further comprising a second valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the second valve allows fluid to flow out of the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing into the barrel.
25 . A vapor generator comprising:
a syringe including:
a barrel defining an opening; and
a plunger, wherein the plunger includes a first magnet; and
a generator body including:
a shaft;
a first valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the first valve allows fluid to flow into the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing out of the barrel; and
a second valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the second valve allows fluid to flow out of the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing into the barrel;
wherein, upon advancement of the shaft toward the opening, fluid moves from the barrel, through the opening and through the second valve and, upon retraction of the shaft away from the opening, fluid moves from a fluid reservoir, through the first valve, through the opening, and into the barrel to refill the syringe.
26 . The vapor generator of claim 25 , wherein, upon advancement of the shaft, fluid flows into a vapor delivery device.
27 . The vapor generator of claim 26 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to advance the shaft to prime the vapor delivery device and, after priming the vapor delivery device but before delivering vapor to a patient, automatically retract the shaft to refill the plunger.
28 . The vapor generator of claim 26 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to advance the shaft until the vapor generator detects a positive pressure about a threshold amount.
29 . The vapor generator of claim 25 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to automatically retract the shaft to refill the syringe.
30 . The vapor generator of claim 29 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to automatically retract the shaft upon the plunger reaching an end of the barrel having the opening.
31 . The vapor generator of claim 25 , further comprising a display device having a user interface, wherein the user interface includes a button for manually refilling the barrel.
32 . A vapor generator comprising:
a syringe including:
a barrel defining an opening; and
a plunger, wherein the plunger includes a first magnet; and
a generator body including a shaft having a second magnet configured to engage the first magnet of the plunger;
wherein the second magnet of the plunger of the generator body is configured to engage the first magnet of the plunger of the syringe, such that:
upon advancement of the shaft toward the opening, fluid moves from the barrel, through the opening and to a vapor delivery device to deliver vapor to a prostate of a patient; and
upon retraction of the shaft away from the opening, fluid moves from a fluid reservoir, through the opening, and into the barrel to refill the syringe.
33 . The vapor generator of claim 32 , further comprising a first valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the first valve allows fluid to flow into the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing out of the barrel.
34 . The vapor generator of claim 33 , further comprising a second valve fluidly coupled to the opening, wherein the second valve allows fluid to flow out of the barrel and restricts fluid from flowing into the barrel.
35 . The vapor generator of claim 32 , wherein the vapor generator is configured to advance the shaft to prime the vapor delivery device and, after priming the vapor delivery device but before delivering vapor to a patient, automatically retract the shaft to refill the plunger.
