Abstract

Absorbent product including a laminate of at least two plies, wherein the absorbent product has a measured Y-Connected Area parameter greater than 20 and a Surface Channel Spacing of less than 2.5 mm. The absorbent product has high strength and low machine direction stretch.

Claims (7)

1 . A two-ply disposable towel having a ball burst to MD stretch ratio of greater than 100.

2 . A two-ply disposable towel having a absorbency to MD stretch ratio of greater than 1.2

3 . A two-ply disposable towel having a softness to MD stretch ratio of greater than 4.75.

4 . A two-ply disposable towel having a (softness×ball burst)/MD stretch value greater than 4800.

5 . A two-ply disposable towel having a (ball burst×absorbency)/MD stretch value greater than 1250.

6 . A two-ply disposable towel having a Str value less than 0.15.

7 . A two-ply disposable towel having an Str value of less than 0.15 and a Channel Angle greater than 2 degrees.
