Abstract

A locker has a reclining seat and an interior storage area. The reclining seat has a headrest, a seatback, a bench, a leg rest, and a footrest. The locker further having an electronic device holder at the top of the interior storage area. The reclining seat being fastened to a seat support assembly. The seat support assembly comprising a frame assembly, at least one curved base; and a seat support base.

Claims (45)

1 . A locker, comprising:

a main storage area defined by a pair of upstanding side walls and a back wall;

a reclining seat disposed at least partially between the pair of upstanding side walls, the reclining seat being movable between an upright and a reclined position;

a plurality of compartments defined between the pair of upstanding sidewalls, including at least one side compartment and at least one center compartment;

an electronic device holder disposed between the pair of upstanding side walls for suspending a personal electronic device, the electronic device holder comprising:

a device storage area defined by at least one pair of side walls, a back wall, and a bottom support wall;

an opening disposed through the bottom support wall, the opening being configured to allow the individual to use the personal electronic device when positioned within the device storage area; and

at least one top wall connector; and

a seat support assembly, the seat support assembly comprising:

a frame assembly;

at least one curved base;

a seat support base; and

a linear actuator extending outwardly from the seat support base to the reclining seat, the linear actuator being configured to tilt the reclining seat between the upright and the reclined position.

2 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the reclining seat comprises:

a headrest;

a seatback;

a bench;

a leg rest; and

a footrest.

3 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device holder further comprises:

at least one opening extending at least partially along a length of at least one pair of side walls, the at least one opening being configured to securely receive the personal electronic device.

4 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device holder further comprises:

a thin sheet of material covering the opening in the bottom support wall.

5 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the frame assembly of the seat support assembly comprises:

at least one pair of headrest support bars;

at least one pair of side support bars;

at least one pair of seat support bars;

at least one pair of leg rest support bars;

at least one pair of footrest support bars; and

a plurality of connecting support bars extending across the frame assembly.

6 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the frame assembly of the seat support assembly further comprises:

at least one seat back support bar configured to receive the reclining seat; and

at least one linear actuator support bar configured to receive the linear actuator.

7 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the seat support assembly further comprises:

a curved base groove extending along a curved length of the at least one curved base.

8 . The locker according to claim 7 , wherein the seat support base of the seat support assembly further comprises:

at least one seat support groove sized to receive the at least one curved base; and

at least one seat support fastener disposed within the at least one seat support groove, the at least one seat support fastener being configured to slot within the curved base groove and secure the at least one curved base within the at least one seat support groove.

9 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the seat support base comprises:

at least one pair of opposing side faces; and

a bottom face connecting the at least one pair of opposing side faces.

10 . The locker according to claim 9 , wherein the pair of opposing side faces and the bottom face of the seat support base are made of sheet metal.

11 . The locker according to claim 1 , wherein the seat support base of the seat support assembly further comprises:

a linear actuator support wall; and

a linear actuator support base.
