Abstract

An accessory for a working device can include a plug body, an extension portion, and a tool. The plug body can have a length along a first axis and can be comprised of a keyed connection piece on a first end. The extension portion can connect on one end to a second end of the plug body and on an opposite end to the tool. The plug body can be receivable by a plug receptacle on a receiving adapter or a working device. The accessory can further include a spring-loaded locking mechanism that can be structured and configured to transiently lock the plug body to a receiving adapter or a working device.

wherein the spring connection pin has a length that is greater than a width or a depth,

wherein the length of the spring connection pin is perpendicular to the plug body, and

wherein the plug body defines a corresponding receiving hole into which the spring connection pin is transiently insertable.

2 . The accessory of claim 1 , wherein the keyed connection piece is multi-lobed, each lobe is immovable relative to each other lobe, and the plug receptacle is hollow.

3 . The accessory of claim 1 , wherein the spring-loaded locking mechanism is positioned along a second axis that is parallel to the first axis.

4 . The accessory of claim 1 , wherein the coiled compression spring is coiled around the spring connection pin a plurality of times, and the coiled compression spring compresses along a third axis that is perpendicular to the first axis.

5 . The accessory of claim 1 , wherein the pivot joint is positioned between the front hook and the spring connection pin.

6 . The accessory of claim 1 , wherein the spring-loaded locking mechanism pivots around the pivot pin.

7 . The accessory of claim 6 , wherein the pivot pin penetrates entirely through the width of the plug body such that a first end and a second end of the pivot pin protrude out from the plug body, and wherein the spring-loaded locking mechanism connects to the protruding ends of the pivot pin at a central portion of the spring-loaded locking mechanism.

8 . An accessory for a working device comprising:

a plug body having a length along a first axis and being comprised of

a keyed connection piece on a first end, wherein the keyed connection piece is immovable relative to a remainder of the plug body,

a coiled compression spring positioned near a second end of the plug body, and

a pivot joint positioned between the first end and the second end of the plug body, wherein the pivot joint includes a pivot pin for connection to a spring-loaded locking mechanism at the singular pivot point, enabling the locking mechanism to pivot relative to the plug body at the singular pivot point,

an extension portion connected on one end to the second end of the plug body and connectable on an opposite end to a tool, and

the spring-loaded locking mechanism that is structured and configured to transiently lock the plug body to a receiving adapter or a working device, the spring-loaded locking mechanism being comprised of

a clip having a first end and a second end that is opposite the first end,

a front hook on the first end, and

a spring connection pin on an underside of the second end of the clip,

wherein at least the keyed connection piece of the plug body is insertable into a plug receptacle on a receiving adapter or a working device,

wherein the entire spring-loaded locking mechanism pivots relative to the plug body at a singular pivot point,

wherein the spring connection pin has a length that is greater than a width or a depth,

wherein the length of the spring connection pin is perpendicular to the plug body,

wherein the keyed connection piece is multi-lobed, and

wherein the front hook is positioned over at least a portion of the multi-lobed connection piece.

9 . The accessory of claim 8 , wherein each lobe is immovable relative to each other lobe, and the plug receptacle is hollow.

10 . The accessory of claim 8 , wherein the spring-loaded locking mechanism is positioned along a second axis that is parallel to the first axis.

11 . The accessory of claim 8 , wherein the coiled compression spring is coiled around the spring connection pin a plurality of times, and the coiled compression spring compresses along a third axis that is perpendicular to the first axis.

12 . The accessory of claim 8 , wherein the pivot joint is positioned between the front hook and the spring connection pin.

13 . The accessory of claim 8 , wherein the spring-loaded locking mechanism pivots around the pivot pin.

14 . The accessory of claim 13 , wherein the pivot pin penetrates entirely through the width of the plug body such that a first end and a second end of the pivot pin protrude out from the plug body, and the spring-loaded locking mechanism connects to the protruding ends of the pivot pin at a central portion of the spring-loaded locking mechanism.

15 . An accessory for a working device comprising:

a plug body having a length along a first axis and being comprised of a keyed connection piece on a first end, wherein the keyed connection piece is immovable relative to a remainder of the plug body, and

an extension portion connected on one end to a second end of the plug body and connectable on an opposite end to a tool,

wherein

at least the keyed connection piece of the plug body is insertable into a plug receptacle on a receiving adapter or a working device

the plug body is further comprised of a mount and a pivot joint positioned on the mount,

the pivot joint connects to a clip of a spring-loaded locking mechanism,

the clip is located along a single side of the plug body,

the spring-loaded locking mechanism pivots only at the connection point of the clip to the pivot joint,

the mount is positioned entirely in between the keyed connection piece and the extension portion,
