Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a plurality of host materials comprising a first host material comprising a compound represented by formula 1 and a second host material comprising a compound represented by formula 2, an organic electroluminescent compound represented by formula 3 and formula 4, and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same.

Claims (46)

1 . A plurality of host materials, comprising one or more first host compounds and one or more second host compounds different from the first host compounds, wherein the first host compound is represented by the following formula 1:

wherein,

Ar 1 and Ar 2 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

L 1 and L 2 each independently represent a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene;

R 1 and R 2 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, or —N—(Ar 7 )(Ar 8 );

Ar 7 and Ar 8 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C30)alkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl; and

a and b each independently represent an integer of 1 to 4, where if a and b each independently represent an integer of 2 or more, each of R 1 and R 2 may be the same or different, and

wherein the second host compound is represented by the following formula 2:

wherein,

Ar 3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

L 3 represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene;

R 3 to R 7 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, or —N—(Ar 9 )(Ar 10 );

Ar 9 and Ar 10 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C30)alkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl; and

c and d each independently represent an integer of 1 to 3; and e and f each independently represent an integer of 1 to 4, where if c to f are an integer of 2 or more, each of R 3 , R 4 , R 6 , and R 7 may be the same or different.

The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein Ar 1 and Ar 2 of formula 1 and Ar 3 of formula 2 each independently represent: a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted terphenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl, a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthrenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted triphenylenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofluorenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuranyl, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted carbazolyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzoselenophenyl.

The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the substituted (C1-C30)alkyl, the substituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, the substituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, the substituted (C6-C30)aryl, the substituted (C6-C30)arylene, the substituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, and the substituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene are each independently substituted with one or more selected from the group consisting of: deuterium, halogen, cyano, carboxyl, nitro, hydroxy, phosphine oxide, (C1-C30)alkyl, halo(C1-C30)alkyl, (C2-C30)alkenyl, (C2-C30)alkynyl, (C1-C30)alkoxy, (C1-C30)alkylthio, (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, (C3-C30)cycloalkenyl, (3- to 7-membered)heterocycloalkyl, (C6-C30)aryloxy, (C6-C30)arylthio, (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl substituted or unsubstituted with at least one of deuterium and (C6-C30)aryl, (C6-C30)aryl substituted or unsubstituted with at least one of deuterium and (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, tri(C1-C30)alkylsilyl, tri(C6-C30)arylsilyl, di(C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylsilyl, (C1-C30)alkyldi(C6-C30)arylsilyl, amino, mono- or di-(C1-C30)alkylamino, mono- or di-(C2-C30)alkenylamino; mono- or di-(C6-C30)arylamino, mono- or di-(3- to 30-membered)heteroarylamino, (C1-C30)alkyl(C2-C30)alkenylamino, (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylamino, (C1-C30)alkyl(3- to 30-membered)heteroarylamino, (C2-C30)alkenyl(C6-C30)arylamino, (C2-C30)alkenyl(3- to 30-membered)heteroarylamino, (C6-C30)aryl(3- to 30-membered)heteroarylamino, (C1-C30)alkylcarbonyl, (C1-C30)alkoxycarbonyl, (C6-C30)arylcarbonyl, (C6-C30)arylphosphine, di(C6-C30)arylboronyl, di(C1-C30)alkylboronyl, (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylboronyl, (C6-C30)ar(C1-C30)alkyl, and (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)aryl.

4 . The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by formula 1 is selected from the following compounds:

wherein Dn of compounds H1-56 to H1-100, H1-102, and H1-104 means that n hydrogens are replaced by deuteriums, and n is between 1 and the maximum number of hydrogens in each compound.

5 . The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by formula 2 is selected from the following compounds:

wherein Dn of compounds C-136 to C-295 means that n hydrogens are replaced by deuteriums, and n is between 1 and the maximum number of hydrogens in each compound.

6 . A compound represented by the following formula 3:

wherein,

Ar 4 represents a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

L 4 represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene;

R 8 represents a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

R 9 to R 12 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, or—N—(Ar 11 )(Ar 12 );

Ar 11 and Ar 12 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C30)alkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl; and

g represents an integer of 1 or 2; and h, i and j each independently represent an integer of 1 to 4, where if g to j are an integer of 2 or more, each of R 9 to R 12 may be the same or different.

7 . The compound of claim 6 , wherein formula 3 is represented by the following formula 3-1 or 3-2:

wherein Ar 4 , R 8 to R 12 , and g to j are the same as defined in claim 6 .

8 . The compound of claim 6 , wherein the compound represented by formula 3 is selected from the following compounds:

wherein Dn of compounds C-136 to C-270 means that n hydrogens are replaced by deuteriums, and n is between 1 and the maximum number of hydrogens in each compound.

9 . A compound represented by the following formula 4:

wherein,

Ar 5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

L 5 represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene;

R 13 represents hydrogen or deuterium n

R 14 to R 18 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, or —N—(Ar 13 )(Ar 14 );

Ar 13 and Ar 14 each independently represent: hydrogen, deuterium, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C30)alkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

k represents an integer of 1 or 2, I represents an integer of 1 to 3, and m and n each independently represent an integer of 1 to 4, where if k to n are an integer of 2 or more, each of R 14 , R 15 , R 17 , and R 18 may be the same or different;

provided that, at least one of R 14 , R 15 and R 16 represents a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl; and at least one of R 13 to R 18 represents deuterium.

10 . The compound of claim 9 , wherein formula 4 is represented by the following formula 4-1 or 4-2:

wherein Ar 5 , R 13 to R 18 , and k to n are the same as defined in claim 9 .

11 . The compound of claim 9 , wherein the compound represented by formula 4 is selected from the following compounds:

wherein Dn of compounds C-271 to C-295 means that n hydrogens are replaced by deuteriums, and n is between 1 and the maximum number of hydrogens in each compound.

12 . An organic electroluminescence device comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and at least one light-emitting layer(s) between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein at least one layer of the light-emitting layer comprises the plurality of host materials of claim 1 .
