Abstract

A game control program for controlling a game in which a cost is set for each of a plurality of skills, the program allowing a computer to function as: a skill activation unit activating a first skill of the plurality of skills in response to a fact that an activation instruction of the first skill of which the set cost is less than or equal to a point that is used in skill activation and associated with a player is received from the player; a point subtraction unit subtracting a point corresponding to the cost that is set for the first skill from the point in response to the activation of the first skill; and a cost increase unit increasing the cost that is set for the first skill in response to the activation of the first skill.

Claims (29)

1. A method for controlling a game in which a cost is set for each of a plurality of skills, comprising controlling a computer comprising a processor and a memory to perform steps of:

activating a first skill of the plurality of skills in response to receipt, from a player, of an activation instruction of the first skill, the first skill having a set cost that is less than or equal to a number of points to be used in skill activation;

wherein the activating of the first skill triggers steps of:

subtracting a point value corresponding to the cost which is set for the first skill from the number of points to be used in skill activation; and

increasing the cost which is set for the first skill; and

decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill, wherein a second skill of the plurality of skills has an effect of decreasing a cost of a skill having a cost that has been increased from a base value, wherein decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill is performed based on activation of the second skill.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises increasing the cost only up to an upper limit value.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises, after increasing the cost which is set for the first skill, displaying the cost at an increased value.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises decreasing the cost down to an initial value of the cost.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises, after decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill, displaying the cost at a decreased value.

6. A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing game control program code for controlling a game in which a cost is set for each of a plurality of skills, wherein the game control program code is configured to control a computer to provide:

a skill activation circuit configured to activate a first skill of the plurality of skills in response to receipt, from a player, of an activation instruction of the first skill, the first skill having a set cost that is less than or equal to a number of points to be used in skill activation;

a point subtraction circuit configured to subtract a point value corresponding to the cost which is set for the first skill from the number of points to be used in skill activation, in response to activation of the first skill;

a cost increase circuit configured to increase the cost which is set for the first skill in response to the activation of the first skill; and

a cost decrease circuit configured to decrease the cost which is set for the first skill, wherein a second skill of the plurality of skills has an effect of decreasing a cost of a skill having a cost that has been increased from a base value and the cost decrease circuit is configured to decrease the cost which is set for the first skill based on activation of the second skill.

7. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the cost increase circuit is further configured to increase the cost only up to an upper limit value.

8. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the cost increase circuit is further configured to, after the cost is increased, display the cost with an increased value.

9. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the cost decrease circuit is further configured to decrease the cost down to an initial value of the cost.

10. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the cost decrease circuit is further configured to, after the cost is decreased, display the cost with a decreased value.

11. A server configured for controlling a game in which a cost is set for each of a plurality of skills, the server comprising a processor, a memory, and a network connection, wherein the server is configured to perform steps of:

activating a first skill of the plurality of skills in response to receipt, from a player, of an activation instruction of the first skill, the first skill having a set cost that is less than or equal to a number of points to be used in skill activation;

wherein the activating of the first skill triggers steps of:

subtracting a point value corresponding to the cost which is set for the first skill from the number of points to be used in skill activation; and

increasing the cost which is set for the first skill; and

decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill, wherein a second skill of the plurality of skills has an effect of decreasing a cost of a skill having a cost that has been increased from a base value, wherein decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill is performed based on activation of the second skill.

12. The server of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to perform a step of increasing the cost only up to an upper limit value.

13. The server of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to perform a step of, after increasing the cost which is set for the first skill, displaying the cost at an increased value.

14. The server of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to perform a step of decreasing the cost down to an initial value of the cost.

15. The server of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to perform a step of, after decreasing the cost which is set for the first skill, displaying the cost at a decreased value.
