Abstract

This application discloses an electrode plate, an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical device. The electrode plate includes: a current collector, where the current collector includes a base film layer and metal layers, and the metal layers are disposed on the base film layer in a spaced-apart manner; and active material layers, where the active material layers are applied to the base film layer in a spaced-apart manner. Each active material layer at least partially covers a corresponding metal layer.

Claims (22)

1 . An electrode plate, comprising:

a current collector, wherein the current collector comprises a base film layer and metal layers, and the metal layers are disposed on the base film layer in a spaced-apart manner; and

active material layers, wherein the active material layers are applied to the base film layer in a spaced-apart manner, and each active material layer at least partially covers a corresponding metal layer.

2 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein the base film layer is non-conductive.

3 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein the metal layer is disposed on one side or both sides of the base film layer.

4 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein each active material layer completely covers a corresponding metal layer.

The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein a part, overlaid with neither the metal layer nor the active material layer, of the base film layer, forms a cut-off portion or a corner portion; and a part, overlaid with both the metal layer and the active material layer, of the base film layer, forms a straight portion.

6 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein lengths of the metal layers are equal to each other, and lengths of the active material layers are equal to each other.

7 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein the metal layers are affixed to the base film layer by vacuum evaporation, bonding, or mechanical joining.

8 . The electrode plate according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of each of the metal layers ranges from 0.01 μm to 3 μm.

An electrode assembly, comprising a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, wherein the positive electrode plate is formed by the electrode plate according to claim 1 , and/or, the negative electrode plate is formed by the electrode plate according to claim 1 .

The electrode assembly according to claim 9 , wherein the positive electrode plate is configured to form a discrete positive electrode plate by cutting a part, overlaid with neither the metal layer nor the active material layer, of the base film layer; the negative electrode plate is configured to form a discrete negative electrode plate by cutting the part, overlaid with neither the metal layer nor the active material layer, of the base film layer; and the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate are stacked alternately.

11 . The electrode assembly according to claim 10 , wherein a length of the discrete positive electrode plate is less than a length of the discrete negative electrode plate.

12 . The electrode assembly according to claim 10 , wherein a length of the active material layer of the discrete positive electrode plate is less than a length of the active material layer of the discrete negative electrode plate.

The electrode assembly according to claim 10 , wherein the base film layer of the discrete positive electrode plate is cut in such a way that a length of the base film layer is equal to a length of the active material layer, and the base film layer of the discrete negative electrode plate is cut in such a way that the length of the base film layer is equal to the length of the active material layer.

The electrode assembly according to claim 9 , wherein the electrode assembly is configured to: bend a part, overlaid with neither the metal layer nor the active material layer, of the base film layer of the positive electrode plate, bend a part, overlaid with neither the metal layer nor the active material layer, of the base film layer of the negative electrode plate, so that a part, overlaid with both the metal layer and the active material layer, of the positive electrode plate and a part, overlaid with both the metal layer and the active material layer, of the negative electrode plate are stacked alternately.

The electrode assembly according to claim 13 , wherein a length of a part, overlaid with both the metal layer and the active material layer, of the positive electrode plate is less than or equal to a length of a part, overlaid with both the metal layer and the active material layer, of the negative electrode plate.

16 . A battery cell, comprising:

a housing; and

the electrode assembly according to claim 9 , wherein the electrode assembly is disposed in the housing.

17 . A battery, comprising the battery cell according to claim 16 .

18 . An electrical device, comprising the battery cell according to claim 16 .
