Abstract

Methods and systems for transcript-based bot creation are provided. Information may be stored in memory regarding different automation templates associated with different statement types. A transcript may be imported that includes statements, which may be analyzed and classified as one or more of the different statement types. The imported transcript may be displayed in a graphic user interface with its statements displayed in accordance with the automation templates associated with the respective statement type. User input may be received, including modification input that modifies at least one automation template associated with at least one statement of the displayed transcript designated as an integration point. A custom bot may thereafter be generated based on the modification input and configured to conduct a conversation based on the imported template and to initiate a workflow at the integration point in accordance with the modified automation template.

2 . A computer-implemented method for assisted bot creation, the method comprising:

generating a display of a graphic user interface for bot customization;

receiving information regarding conversational content associated with customizing a bot, wherein the information is received in the graphic user interface;

analyzing a plurality of points within the conversational content using an artificially intelligent (AI) assist widget, wherein the AI assist widget analyzes the points within the conversational content based on historical conversational content and related metrics;

generating a recommendation for an identified point within the conversational content based on the analysis by the AI assist widget, wherein the recommendation is for an automated action to be performed by the customized bot at the identified point within the conversational content; and

generating the customized bot based on the recommendation, wherein the customized bot performs the automated action during a new conversation at a point corresponding to the identified point.

The method of claim 2 , wherein the conversational content includes a transcript that includes a plurality of statements classified into different statement types, and wherein analyzing the plurality of points within the conversational content includes classifying a statement in accordance with the statement types.

4 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising identifying the identified point based on a statement classification associated with the identified point within the conversational content.

5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein generating the recommendation for the automated action is based on an automation template associated with a bot type.

6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein generating the customized bot includes filling in a slot of an automation template with a corresponding parameter, and wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the corresponding parameter.

7 . The method of claim 2 , wherein analyzing the plurality of points within the conversational content includes assigning a score to a statement at one or more of the points.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein assigning the score is based on a quantified degree of success associated with the statement, and wherein the degree of success includes participant sentiment associated with the statement.

9 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising analyzing the corresponding point within the new conversation in real-time, wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the real-time analysis.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the real-time analysis includes an insight based on conversational content within the new conversation, and further comprising making the insight available to a subsequent bot customization graphic user interface.

11 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the recommendation further includes one or more modifier options for the identified point.

12 . A system for assisted bot creation, the system comprising:

a communication interface that communicates over a communication network, wherein the communication network:

provides a generated display of a graphic user interface for bot customization; and

receives information regarding conversational content associated with customizing a bot, wherein the information is received in the graphic user interface; and

a processor that executes instructions stored in memory, wherein the processor executes the instructions to:

analyze a plurality of points within the conversational content using an artificially intelligent (AI) assist widget, wherein the AI assist widget analyzes the points within the conversational content based on historical conversational content and related metrics;

generate a recommendation for an identified point within the conversational content based on the analysis by the AI assist widget, wherein the recommendation is for an automated action to be performed by the customized bot at the identified point within the conversational content; and

generate the customized bot based on the recommendation, wherein the customized bot performs the automated action during a new conversation at a point corresponding to the identified point.

The system of claim 12 , wherein the conversational content includes a transcript that includes a plurality of statements classified into different statement types, and wherein the processor analyzes the plurality of points within the conversational content by classifying a statement in accordance with the statement types.

14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor executes further instructions to identify the identified point based on a statement classification associated with the identified point within the conversational content.

15 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor generates the recommendation for the automated action based on an automation template associated with a bot type.

16 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor generates the customized bot by filling in a slot of an automation template with a corresponding parameter, and wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the corresponding parameter.

17 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor analyzes the plurality of points within the conversational content by assigning a score to a statement at one or more of the points.

18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the processor assigns the score based on a quantified degree of success associated with the statement, and wherein the degree of success includes participant sentiment associated with the statement.

19 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor executes further instructions to analyze the corresponding point within the new conversation in real-time, and wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the real-time analysis.

20 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the real-time analysis includes an insight based on conversational content within the new conversation, and wherein the communication interface further makes the insight available to a subsequent bot customization graphic user interface.

21 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the recommendation further includes one or more modifier options for the identified point.

22 . A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium having embodied thereon a program executable by a processor to perform a method for assisted bot creation, the method comprising:

generating a display of a graphic user interface for bot customization;

receiving information regarding conversational content associated with customizing a bot, wherein the information is received in the graphic user interface;

analyzing a plurality of points within the conversational content using an artificially intelligent (AI) assist widget, wherein the AI assist widget analyzes the points within the conversational content based on historical conversational content and related metrics;

generating a recommendation for an identified point within the conversational content based on the analysis by the AI assist widget, wherein the recommendation is for an automated action to be performed by the customized bot at the identified point within the conversational content; and

generating the customized bot based on the recommendation, wherein the customized bot performs the automated action during a new conversation at a point corresponding to the identified point.

The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , wherein the conversational content includes a transcript that includes a plurality of statements classified into different statement types, and wherein analyzing the plurality of points within the conversational content includes classifying a statement in accordance with the statement types.

24 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , further comprising identifying the identified point based on a statement classification associated with the identified point within the conversational content.

25 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , wherein generating the recommendation for the automated action is based on an automation template associated with a bot type.

The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , wherein generating the customized bot includes filling in a slot of an automation template with a corresponding parameter, and wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the corresponding parameter.

27 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , wherein analyzing the plurality of points within the conversational content includes assigning a score to a statement at one or more of the points.

28 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 27 , wherein assigning the score is based on a quantified degree of success associated with the statement, and wherein the degree of success includes participant sentiment associated with the statement.

29 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , further comprising analyzing the corresponding point within the new conversation in real-time, wherein the customized bot performs the automated action further based on the real-time analysis.

30 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 29 , wherein the real-time analysis includes an insight based on conversational content within the new conversation, and further comprising making the insight available to a subsequent bot customization graphic user interface.

31 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 22 , wherein the recommendation further includes one or more modifier options for the identified point.
