Abstract

A separator and a preparation method thereof, a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric apparatus. The separator includes a separator substrate and a carbon layer on at least one surface of the separator substrate, where a functional group for improving surface infiltration is grafted onto a surface on a side, farther away from the separator substrate, of the carbon layer.

Claims (21)

1 . A separator, comprising:

a separator substrate; and

a carbon layer on at least one surface of the separator substrate;

wherein a functional group for improving surface infiltration is grafted onto a surface on a side, farther away from the separator substrate, of the carbon layer.

2 . The separator according to claim 1 , wherein the functional group for improving surface infiltration is at least one selected from a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group.

3 . The separator according to claim 1 , wherein a percentage of the number of functional groups for improving surface infiltration is 4% to 12%.

4 . The separator according to claim 1 , wherein a contact angle between the carbon layer and an electrolyte is 64.9° to 110.6°.

5 . The separator according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness ratio of the separator substrate to the carbon layer is 24:0.02 to 24:0.175.

6 . The separator according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the carbon layer is 20 nm to 175 nm.

The separator according to claim 1 , wherein the separator substrate comprises a polymer film, a ceramic coating, and a polymer adhesion coating, wherein the ceramic coating is located between the polymer film and the polymer adhesion coating, the carbon layer is located on a surface on a side, farther away from the ceramic coating, of the polymer adhesion coating, and the polymer film is at least one selected from a polypropylene film and a polyethylene film.

8 . A preparation method of the separator according to claim 1 , comprising:

preparing the carbon layer on the at least one surface of the separator substrate; and

grafting the functional group for improving surface infiltration onto the surface on the side, farther away from the separator substrate, of the carbon layer.

9 . The preparation method according to claim 8 , wherein the carbon layer is deposited on the surface of the separator substrate via a methane plasma treatment.

10 . The preparation method according to claim 9 , wherein time of the methane plasma treatment is 1 minute to 30 minutes.

11 . The preparation method according to claim 8 , wherein the functional group for improving surface infiltration is grafted onto the surface on the side, farther away from the separator substrate, of the carbon layer via an oxygen plasma treatment.

12 . The preparation method according to claim 11 , wherein time of the oxygen plasma treatment is 1 minute to 50 minutes.

13 . A secondary battery, comprising the separator according to claim 1 .

14 . A battery module, comprising the secondary battery according to claim 13 .

15 . A battery pack, comprising the battery module according to claim 14 .

16 . An electric apparatus, comprising the secondary battery according to claim 13 .
