METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING RECIPIENTS OF A REWARD ASSOCIATED WITH A CONVERSION
The present teaching relates to method and system for evaluating a conversion. The method extracts meta-information including a conversion parameter and a reward. The meta-information corresponds to a conversion associated with an advertisement displayed previously by a plurality of entities. The method receives a plurality of claims for the conversion from one or more entities, and selects a claim corresponding to an entity from the plurality of claims based on the conversion parameter and information included in the plurality of claims. Further, the method transmits information related to the selected claim.
1 . A method for allocating a reward associated with a conversion associated with an advertisement, the method comprising:
in response to a conversion associated with an advertisement, extracting information from a closed-loop blockchain, the information comprising a time-out period, a conversion parameter for evaluating the conversion, and a reward;
receiving, within the closed-loop blockchain, a plurality of claims for the conversion within the time-out period;
selecting, based on the conversion parameter, a winning claim from the plurality of claims; and
allocating the reward to a publisher associated with the winning claim.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the publisher is a source of the conversion.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the conversion parameter includes a time stamp of the conversion.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein,
each of the plurality of claims includes an attribute associated with the conversion, and
the winning claim is selected based on matching the attribute with the conversion parameter.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to the publisher.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to one or more of a third-party service provider, an offline or online seller, and a manufacturer.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
updating, based on the publisher associated with the winning claim, the information stored in the closed-loop blockchain.
8 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium having information recorded thereon for allocating a reward associated with a conversion associated with an advertisement, wherein the information, when read by a machine, causes the machine to perform operations comprising:
in response to a conversion associated with an advertisement, extracting information from a closed-loop blockchain, the information comprising a time-out period, a conversion parameter for evaluating the conversion, and a reward;
receiving, within the closed-loop blockchain, a plurality of claims for the conversion within the time-out period;
selecting, based on the conversion parameter, a winning claim from the plurality of claims; and
allocating the reward to a publisher associated with the winning claim.
9 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein the publisher is a source of the conversion.
10 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein the conversion parameter includes a time stamp of the conversion.
11 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein,
each of the plurality of claims includes an attribute associated with the conversion, and
the winning claim is selected based on matching the attribute with the conversion parameter.
12 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to the publisher.
13 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to one or more of a third-party service provider, an offline or online seller, and a manufacturer.
14 . The medium of claim 8 , wherein the operations further comprise:
updating, based on the publisher associated with the winning claim, the information stored in the closed-loop blockchain.
15 . A system for allocating a reward associated with a conversion associated with an advertisement, the system comprising:
memory storing computer program instructions; and
one or more processors that, in response to executing the computer program instructions, effectuate operations comprising:
in response to a conversion associated with an advertisement, extracting information from a closed-loop blockchain, the information comprising a time-out period, a conversion parameter for evaluating the conversion, and a reward;
receiving, within the closed-loop blockchain, a plurality of claims for the conversion within the time-out period;
selecting, based on the conversion parameter, a winning claim from the plurality of claims; and
allocating the reward to a publisher associated with the winning claim.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the publisher is a source of the conversion.
17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the conversion parameter includes a time stamp of the conversion.
18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein,
each of the plurality of claims includes an attribute associated with the conversion, and
the winning claim is selected based on matching the attribute with the conversion parameter.
19 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to the publisher.
20 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise:
transmitting information related to the winning claim to one or more of a third-party service provider, an offline or online seller, and a manufacturer.
