Abstract

According to an aspect of the present application, a composition for controlling a target pest comprises 0.1% to 4% isopropyl myristate, 0.1% to 15% thyme oil white, 0.1% to 2% geraniol, and at least one additional active ingredient selected from thymyl acetate, linalyl acetate, amyl butyrate, anise star oil, black seed oil, p-cymene, linalool, d-limonene, isopropyl myristate, lilac flower oil, methyl salicylate, alpha-pinene, piperonal, piperonyl alcohol, tetrahydrolinalool, thyme oil white, thyme oil red, thymol, vanillin, and wintergreen oil. The composition causes synergistic control of the target pest.

Claims (53)

1. A pest control composition comprising:

0.1 to 5 weight percent isopropyl myristate;

0.01 to 1.0 weight percent beta-pinene;

0.01 to 0.3 weight percent camphene;

limonene; and

mineral oil.

2. The pest control composition of claim 1 , comprising 0.1 to 3 weight percent isopropyl myristate.

3. The pest control composition of claim 1 , further comprising at least one of:

alpha-pinene;

camphor; and

linalool.

4. The pest control composition of claim 1 , further comprising alpha-pinene and linalool.

5. The pest control composition of claim 1 , further comprising camphor and linalool.

6. The pest control composition of claim 1 , further comprising alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

7. The pest control composition of claim 2 , further comprising at least one of:

alpha-pinene;

camphor; and

linalool.

8. The pest control composition of claim 2 , further comprising alpha-pinene and linalool.

9. The pest control composition of claim 2 , further comprising camphor and linalool.

10. The pest control composition of claim 2 , further comprising alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

11. A pest control composition comprising:

0.08 to 0.6 weight percent isopropyl myristate;

0.01 to 1.0 weight percent beta-pinene;

0.01 to 0.3 weight percent camphene;

limonene; and

mineral oil.

12. The pest control composition of claim 11 , further comprising at least one of:

alpha-pinene;

camphor; and

linalool.

13. The pest control composition of claim 11 , further comprising alpha-pinene and linalool.

14. The pest control composition of claim 11 , further comprising camphor and linalool.

15. The pest control composition of claim 11 , further comprising alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

16. A method for controlling a pest comprising:

contacting a pest with a pest control composition comprising

0.1 to 5 weight percent isopropyl myristate;

0.01 to 1.0 weight percent beta-pinene;

0.01 to 0.3 weight percent camphene;

limonene; and

mineral oil.

17. The method for controlling a pest of claim 16 , wherein the pest control composition comprises 0.1 to 3 weight percent isopropyl myristate.

18. The method for controlling a pest of claim 16 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises at least one of alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

19. The method for controlling a pest of claim 16 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene and linalool.

20. The method for controlling a pest of claim 16 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

21. The method for controlling a pest of claim 17 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises at least one of alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

22. The method for controlling a pest of claim 17 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene and linalool.

23. The method for controlling a pest of claim 17 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises camphor and linalool.

24. The method for controlling a pest of claim 17 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.

25. The method for controlling a pest of claim 16 , wherein the pest control composition comprises 0.08 to 0.6 weight percent isopropyl myristate.

26. The method for controlling a pest of claim 25 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene and linalool.

27. The method for controlling a pest of claim 25 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises camphor and linalool.

28. The method for controlling a pest of claim 25 , wherein the pest control composition further comprises alpha-pinene, camphor, and linalool.
