1 . A method performed by a first terminal for a device change from the first terminal to a second terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

identifying selection for a first profile associated with the device change by receiving input from a user;

obtaining an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) identifier (EID) of the second terminal for the device change through scanning the EID in a quick response (QR) code format outputted in the second terminal or receiving input from the user;

transmitting, to a network entity, a message including an integrated circuit card identifier (ICCID) for the first profile and the EID of the second terminal; and

providing, to the second terminal, an activation code, based on which a second profile corresponding to the first profile is downloaded from the network entity to the second terminal,

wherein the EID is associated with the second profile corresponding to the first profile.

2 . The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the ICCID and the EID are transmitted from the network entity to a service provider, and

wherein the EID and at least one of a profile type or an ICCID of the second profile corresponding to the first profile are transmitted from the service provider to the network entity.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

displaying a confirmation request for the device change; and

obtaining a confirmation on the device change by receiving input from the user.

4 . The method of claim 2 ,

wherein the second profile is generated in the network entity based on the EID and the at least one of the profile type or the ICCID of the second profile corresponding to the first profile.

5 . The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the ICCID and the EID are transmitted from the network entity to a service provider, and

the method further comprises:

receiving, from the network entity, a request to delete the first profile;

deleting the first profile from the eUICC in the first terminal based on the request; and

transmitting, to the network entity, a notification for the deleted profile.

6 . A method performed by a second terminal for a device change from a first terminal to the second terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

obtaining an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) identifier (EID) of the second terminal;

outputting the EID of the second terminal for the device change in a quick response (QR) code format or a text format, the EID to be obtained in the first terminal through scanning or receiving input from a user;

obtaining, from the first terminal, an activation code; and

downloading, from a network entity which received an integrated circuit card identifier (ICCID) for a first profile and the EID of the second terminal from the first terminal, a second profile corresponding to the first profile selected in the first terminal for the device change, based on the activation code, wherein the EID is associated with the second profile corresponding to the first profile.

7 . The method of claim 6 ,

wherein the ICCID and the EID are transmitted from the network entity to a service provider, and

wherein the EID and at least one of a profile type or an ICCID of the second profile corresponding to the first profile are transmitted from the service provider to the network entity.

8 . The method of claim 6 ,

wherein a confirmation request for the device change is displayed by the first terminal, and

wherein a confirmation on the device change is obtained by the first terminal by receiving input from the user.

9 . The method of claim 7 ,

wherein the second profile is generated in the network entity based on the EID and the at least one of the profile type or the ICCID of the second profile corresponding to the first profile.

10 . The method of claim 6 ,

wherein the ICCID and the EID are transmitted from the network entity to a service provider,
