USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO IDENTIFY NOVEL TARGETS AND METHODOLOGIES FOR SKIN CARE TREATMENT
Use of an artificial intelligence engine to provide skin care treatment is disclosed.
1 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
receiving user-specific information, wherein the received user specific information includes i) an image of the user captured with an image capture device, and ii) information associated with historical adverse events of the user;
accessing a data structure containing information reflecting relationships between categories of the received user-specific information and skin care treatment information, the information reflecting relationships derived from novel target or methodology for treatment of acne vulgaris obtained using artificial intelligence;
comparing, using an artificial intelligence engine, the received user-specific information with the accessed data;
identifying, using the artificial intelligence engine, skin care treatment recommendation determined by the artificial intelligence engine to be related to the user-specific information;
evaluating the identified skin care treatment recommendation for a potential to trigger at least one of the historical adverse events of the user; and
based on the evaluation failing to indicate a likelihood of the trigger of the at least one of the historical adverse events, providing the identified skin care treatment to the user.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the novel target includes upregulated receptors on a cell and a cell originating signal.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the historical adverse events include at least one of teratogenicity, depression and suicidal ideation.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the user-specific information further includes personal information of at least one of skin type, skin tone, allergy information, demographic information, climate information and lifestyle information.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the identified skin care treatment includes at least one of a skin care treatment product recommendation, remedial measure, preventative measure, an application and use information, a suggestion for complementary products, or a lifestyle or dietary recommendation.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
identifying an instance of the acne vulgaris in the user; and
using the artificial intelligence, proposing a disease mechanism for the identified instance of the acne vulgaris in the user.
7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the historical adverse events include a side effect.
8 . A system, comprising:
a memory; and
a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
receive user-specific information, wherein the received user specific information includes i) an image of the user captured with an image capture device, and ii) information associated with historical adverse events of the user;
access a data structure containing information reflecting relationships between categories of the received user-specific information and skin care treatment information, the information reflecting relationships derived from novel target or methodology for treatment of acne vulgaris obtained using artificial intelligence;
compare, using an artificial intelligence engine, the received user-specific information with the accessed data;
identify, using the artificial intelligence engine, skin care treatment recommendation determined by the artificial intelligence engine to be related to the user-specific information;
evaluate the identified skin care treatment recommendation for a potential to trigger at least one of the historical adverse events of the user; and
based on the evaluation failing to indicate a likelihood of the trigger of the at least one of the historical adverse events, provide the identified skin care treatment to the user.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the novel target includes upregulated receptors on a cell and a cell originating signal.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the historical adverse events include at least one of teratogenicity, depression and suicidal ideation.
11 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the user-specific information further includes personal information of at least one of skin type, skin tone, allergy information, demographic information, climate information and lifestyle information.

The system of claim 8 , wherein the identified skin care treatment includes at least one of a skin care treatment product recommendation, remedial measure, preventative measure, an application and use information, a suggestion for complementary products, or a lifestyle or dietary recommendation.
13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
identify an instance of the acne vulgaris in the user; and
using the artificial intelligence, propose a disease mechanism for the identified instance of the acne vulgaris in the user.
14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the historical adverse events include a side effect.
15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
receive user-specific information, wherein the received user specific information includes i) an image of the user captured with an image capture device, and ii) information associated with historical adverse events of the user;
access a data structure containing information reflecting relationships between categories of the received user-specific information and skin care treatment information, the information reflecting relationships derived from novel target or methodology for treatment of acne vulgaris obtained using artificial intelligence;
compare, using an artificial intelligence engine, the received user-specific information with the accessed data;
identify, using the artificial intelligence engine, skin care treatment recommendation determined by the artificial intelligence engine to be related to the user-specific information;
evaluate the identified skin care treatment recommendation for a potential to trigger at least one of the historical adverse events of the user; and
based on the evaluation failing to indicate a likelihood of the trigger of the at least one of the historical adverse events, provide the identified skin care treatment to the user.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the novel target includes upregulated receptors on a cell and a cell originating signal.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the historical adverse events include at least one of teratogenicity, depression and suicidal ideation.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the user-specific information further includes personal information of at least one of skin type, skin tone, allergy information, demographic information, climate information and lifestyle information.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the identified skin care treatment includes at least one of a skin care treatment product recommendation, remedial measure, preventative measure, an application and use information, a suggestion for complementary products, or a lifestyle or dietary recommendation.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to:
identify an instance of the acne vulgaris in the user; and
using the artificial intelligence, propose a disease mechanism for the identified instance of the acne vulgaris in the user.
