Abstract

A vaporization device is describe that includes a vaporizer body including a vaporizable material insert receptacle configured to receive a vaporizable material insert including vaporizable material. The vaporizable material insert can include a vaporizable material component including a vaporizable material, such as a non-liquid vaporizable material. Various embodiments of the vaporizable material component are described that include one or more features for preventing airflow into and/or through the vaporizable material component, as well as for achieving efficient and effective heating of the vaporizable material and formation of inhalable aerosol. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Claims (23)

1 . A vaporizable material insert for use with a vaporizer device to form an inhalable aerosol, the vaporizable material insert comprising:

a housing being formed of a paper material; and

a vaporizable material component being at least partially disposed within the housing, the vaporizable material component comprising a vaporizable material and thermally conductive material that is in direct contact with the vaporizable material to allow for inductive heating of the vaporizable material to form the inhalable aerosol, the vaporizable material comprising a tobacco material, wherein the thermally conductive material is in direct contact with the paper material.

2 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the vaporizable material insert comprises a cylindrical shape, an approximately rectangular shape, an approximately elliptical shape, a parallelogram-like shape, or other shapes having rotational symmetry of at least order two.

3 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , further comprising a heating element extending along the vaporizable material component.

4 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 3 , wherein the heating element extends through and along a longitudinal axis of the vaporizable material component.

5 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the tobacco material comprises parts of tobacco leaves.

6 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the housing comprises a heating element configured to heat the vaporizable material component.

7 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the thermally conductive material comprises thermally conductive particles that directly contact the vaporizable material.

8 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the thermally conductive material is formed of a metal material.

9 . The vaporizable material insert of claim 1 , wherein the thermally conductive material comprises a layer positioned along an inner wall of the paper material.

10 . A system for generating an inhalable aerosol, the system comprising:

a vaporizable material insert, comprising:

a housing being formed of a paper material, and

a vaporizable material component being at least partially disposed within the housing, the vaporizable material component comprising a vaporizable material and thermally conductive material that is in direct contact with the vaporizable material to allow for inductive heating of the vaporizable material to form the inhalable aerosol, the vaporizable material comprising a tobacco material, wherein the thermally conductive material is in direct contact with the paper material; and

a vaporizer device comprising a vaporizable material insert receptacle configured to receive the vaporizable material insert.

11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the vaporizable material insert receptacle provides a sliding fit with the vaporizable material insert.

12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the tobacco material comprises parts of tobacco leaves.

13 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the vaporizable material insert comprises a cylindrical shape, an approximately rectangular shape, an approximately elliptical shape, a parallelogram-like shape, or other shapes having rotational symmetry of at least order two.

14 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the vaporizable material insert receptacle comprises a cylindrical shape, an approximately rectangular shape, an approximately elliptical shape, a parallelogram-like shape, or other shapes having rotational symmetry of at least order two.

15 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the thermally conductive material comprises thermally conductive particles that directly contact the vaporizable material.

16 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the thermally conductive material is formed of a metal material.

17 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the thermally conductive material comprises a heating element.
