Abstract

A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) scheduling physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions for a cell. The DCI comprises a first phase tracking reference signal-demodulation reference signal (PTRS-DMRS) association field, a second PTRS-DMRS association field, and a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set field. A first value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on the first PTRS-DMRS association field, and a second value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on both the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field. The wireless device transmits the PUSCH transmissions based on the SRS resource set field.

a first value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on the first PTRS-DMRS association field; and

a second value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on both the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field; and

transmitting the PUSCH transmissions based on the SRS resource set field.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining, based on the first value or the second value, a PTRS-DMRS association field, from the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field, to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising selecting, based on the first value or the second value, one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting one or more PTRSs over one or more DMRS ports of the PUSCH transmissions.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a DMRS port of a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a PTRS port.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting:

a first PTRS over a first DMRS port of a first PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions; and

a second PTRS over a second DMRS port of a second PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the first PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a first DMRS port of a first PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a first PTRS port; and

the second PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a second DMRS port of a second PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a second PTRS port.

8 . A method comprising:

transmitting, by a base station to a wireless device, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions for a cell, wherein the DCI comprises:

a first phase tracking reference signal-demodulation reference signal (PTRS-DMRS) association field;

a second PTRS-DMRS association field; and

a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set field, wherein:

a first value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on the first PTRS-DMRS association field; and

a second value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on the second PTRS-DMRS association field; and

receiving the PUSCH transmissions based on the SRS resource set field.

9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising determining, based on the first value or the second value, a PTRS-DMRS association field, from the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field, to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

10 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising selecting, based on the first value or the second value, one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

11 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising receiving one or more PTRSs over one or more DMRS ports of the PUSCH transmissions.

12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a DMRS port of a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a PTRS port.

13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising receiving:

a first PTRS over a first DMRS port of a first PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions; and

a second PTRS over a second DMRS port of a second PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

14 . The method of claim 8 , wherein:

the first PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a first DMRS port of a first PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a first PTRS port; and

the second PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a second DMRS port of a second PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a second PTRS port.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a base station, cause the base station to:

transmit downlink control information (DCI) scheduling physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions for a cell, wherein the DCI comprises:

a first phase tracking reference signal-demodulation reference signal (PTRS-DMRS) association field;

a second PTRS-DMRS association field; and

a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set field, wherein:

a first value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on the first PTRS-DMRS association field; and

a second value of the SRS resource set field indicates the PUSCH transmissions are based on both the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field; and

receive the PUSCH transmissions based on the SRS resource set field.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to determine, based on the first value or the second value, a PTRS-DMRS association field, from the first PTRS-DMRS association field and the second PTRS-DMRS association field, to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to select, based on the first value or the second value, one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field to apply to a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to receive one or more PTRSs over one or more DMRS ports of the PUSCH transmissions.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein one of the first PTRS-DMRS association field or the second PTRS-DMRS association field indicates an association between a DMRS port of a PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions and a PTRS port.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to receive:

a first PTRS over a first DMRS port of a first PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions; and

a second PTRS over a second DMRS port of a second PUSCH transmission of the PUSCH transmissions.
