Abstract

A communication system includes a connection module, a processing module, and K nodes. The connection module is configured to connect the processing module and the K nodes. The processing module includes L communication units, where each of the L communication units corresponds to one node, the L communication units include a first communication unit, and the K nodes include a first node. The first communication unit is configured to process a packet of the first node that corresponds to the first communication unit.

Claims (49)

1 . A communication system comprising:

K nodes comprising a first node, wherein K is an integer greater than zero;

a processing device comprising L communication components, wherein each of the L communication components corresponds to one of the K nodes, wherein the L communication components comprise a first communication component that is configured to process a first packet of the first node, and wherein L is an integer greater than zero; and

a connection device configured to:

couple the processing device and the K nodes; and

add a first packet identifier to a second packet that passes through the connection device.

2 . The communication system of claim 1 , wherein the first communication component is further configured to:

listen to the first packet; or

send the second packet to the first node.

3 . The communication system of claim 1 , wherein the connection device comprises M ports, wherein the M ports comprise a first port, wherein the first node is configured to access the connection device through the first port, and wherein the first port and the first communication component correspond to a first identifier.

4 . The communication system of claim 3 , wherein the connection device is further configured to add the first packet identifier to the first packet, and wherein the first communication component is further configured to listen to the first packet based on the first packet having the first packet identifier.

5 . The communication system of claim 4 , wherein a destination Internet Protocol (IP) address of the first packet is an IP address of the processing device.

6 . The communication system of claim 4 , wherein a destination Internet Protocol (IP) address of the first packet is a multicast address or a broadcast address, and wherein the connection device is further configured to:

obtain N third packets based on the first packet, wherein N is greater than or equal to one; and

forward the N third packets to a second port that is of the M ports and that corresponds to the destination IP address.

7 . The communication system of claim 3 , wherein the first communication component is further configured to send a third packet, wherein the connection device is further configured to:

receive the third packet;

add a second packet identifier to the third packet, wherein the second packet identifier is the first identifier; and

send, based on the first identifier, the third packet through the first port to the first node.

8 . The communication system of claim 7 , wherein a local Internet Protocol (IP) address of the third packet is an IP address of the first communication component.

9 . The communication system of claim 1 , wherein Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the K nodes are the same when K is an integer greater than one.

10 . The communication system of claim 1 , wherein the processing device is further configured to:

receive a configuration information packet from the first node, wherein the configuration information packet comprises an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the first node; and

create, based on the configuration information packet, the first communication component corresponding to the first node.

11 . The communication system of claim 1 , wherein the first communication component comprises a virtual device instance, or wherein the connection device comprises a switch.

12 . A method implemented by a communication system, wherein the method comprises:

connecting, by a connection device of the communication system, a processing device of the communication system and K nodes of the communication system, wherein the processing device comprises L communication components, wherein each of the L communication components corresponds to one of the K nodes, and wherein K and L are integers greater than zero;

processing, by the processing device, a first packet of a first node of the K nodes using a first communication component of the L communication components; and

adding, by the connection device, a first packet identifier to a second packet that passes through the connection device.

13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

listening, by the processing device, to the first packet using the first communication component; or

sending, by the processing device, the second packet to the first node using the first communication component.

14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the connection device comprises M ports, and wherein the method further comprises accessing, by the first node, the connection device through a first port of the M ports, wherein the first node is coupled to the first port, and wherein each of the first port and the first communication component corresponds to a first identifier.

15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:

adding, by the connection device, the first packet identifier to the first packet; and

listening, by the processing device using the first communication component, to the first packet first packet based on the first packet having the first packet identifier.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein a destination Internet Protocol (IP) address of the first packet is an IP address of the processing device.

17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the destination IP address is a multicast address or a broadcast address, and wherein the method further comprises:

obtaining, by the connection device, N third packets based on the first packet; and

forwarding, by the connection device, the N third packets to a second port that is of the M ports and that corresponds to the destination IP address.

18 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:

receiving, by the connection device from the first communication component, a third packet;

adding, by the connection device, a second packet identifier to the third packet, wherein the second packet identifier is the first identifier; and

sending, by the connection device, based on the first identifier, the third packet through the first port to the first node.

19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein a local Internet Protocol (IP) address of the third packet is an IP address of the first communication component.

20 . A computer program product comprising computer-executable instructions that are stored on a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium and that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a communication system to:

connect, using a connection device of the communication system, a processing device of the communication system and K nodes of the communication system, wherein the processing device comprises L communication components, wherein each of the L communication components corresponds to one of the K nodes, and wherein K and L are integers greater than zero;

process, using the processing device, a first packet of a first node of the K nodes using a first communication component of the L communication components; and

add, using the connection device, a first packet identifier to a second packet that passes through the connection device.
