AGENT DRIVEN WORKFLOW ENGINE FOR AUTOMATING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TASKS
A property management software system (PMSS) receives, from a client device connected to the PMSS, a request associated with a property management task, identifies a workflow corresponding to the property management task, the workflow comprising a sequence of operations, generates a prompt based on the request, the workflow, and additional contextual data from the PMSS, and provides the prompt as an input to a generative AI model agent, the generative AI model agent to execute the sequence of operations to perform the property management task.
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, from a client device connected to a property management software system (PMSS), a request associated with a property management task;
identifying a workflow corresponding to the property management task, the workflow comprising a sequence of operations;
generating a prompt based on the request, the workflow, and additional contextual data from the PMSS; and
providing the prompt as an input to a generative AI model agent, the generative AI model agent to execute the sequence of operations to perform the property management task.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the workflow comprises:
a plurality of actions;
a plurality of flow paths connecting the plurality of actions; and
a plurality of textual descriptions describing each action of the plurality of actions.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the workflow is defined for the PMSS in response to input received via at least one of a graphical user interface or an application programming interface.
4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein generating the prompt comprises identifying a textual description describing at least one action of the plurality of actions.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the generative AI model agent is part of a hierarchy comprising a plurality of agents, wherein each agent is associated with one or more individual actions of the plurality of actions.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein to execute the sequence of operations, the generative AI model agent is to perform the at least one action of the plurality of actions.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:
obtaining an output of the generative AI model agent, the output comprising a result of the at least one action of the plurality of actions.
8 . A system configured to execute a property management software system (PMSS), the system comprising:
memory; and
a processing device coupled to the memory to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a client device connected to the PMSS, a request associated with a property management task;
identifying a workflow corresponding to the property management task, the workflow comprising a sequence of operations;
generating a prompt based on the request, the workflow, and additional contextual data from the PMSS; and
providing the prompt as an input to a generative AI model agent, the generative AI model agent to execute the sequence of operations to perform the property management task.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the workflow comprises:
a plurality of actions;
a plurality of flow paths connecting the plurality of actions; and
a plurality of textual descriptions describing each action of the plurality of actions.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the workflow is defined for the PMSS in response to input received via at least one of a graphical user interface or an application programming interface.
11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein generating the prompt comprises identifying a textual description describing at least one action of the plurality of actions.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the generative AI model agent is part of a hierarchy comprising a plurality of agents, wherein each agent is associated with one or more individual actions of the plurality of actions.
13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein to execute the sequence of operations, the generative AI model agent is to perform the at least one action of the plurality of actions.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the processing device is to perform operations further comprising:
obtaining an output of the generative AI model agent, the output comprising a result of the at least one action of the plurality of actions.
15 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a client device connected to a property management software system (PMSS), a request associated with a property management task;
identifying a workflow corresponding to the property management task, the workflow comprising a sequence of operations;
generating a prompt based on the request, the workflow, and additional contextual data from the PMSS; and
providing the prompt as an input to a generative AI model agent, the generative AI model agent to execute the sequence of operations to perform the property management task.
16 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the workflow comprises:
a plurality of actions;
a plurality of flow paths connecting the plurality of actions; and
a plurality of textual descriptions describing each action of the plurality of actions.
17 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the workflow is defined for the PMSS in response to input received via at least one of a graphical user interface or an application programming interface.
18 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein generating the prompt comprises identifying a textual description describing at least one action of the plurality of actions.
19 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 18 , wherein the generative AI model agent is part of a hierarchy comprising a plurality of agents, wherein each agent is associated with one or more individual actions of the plurality of actions.
20 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 19 , wherein to execute the sequence of operations, the generative AI model agent is to perform the at least one action of the plurality of actions.
