Abstract

Aspects disclosed herein generally relate to beverage systems. Particularly, beverage systems comprising a sleeve or boot to provide stability, protection, and/or insulation to the beverage container. The sleeve or boot in accordance with aspects herein is comprised of an elastically resilient material. The beverage container of the beverage system in accordance with aspects herein is configured to accommodate the sleeve or boot such that when the sleeve or boot is installed, the outer surface of the beverage container smoothly transitions to the outer surface of the sleeve or boot.

Claims (26)

1 . A beverage system comprising:

a base structure having a bottom margin and a top margin, the base structure comprising an inner wall and an outer wall, and the outer wall comprising a first portion offset from a second portion;

a lid structure; and

a boot removably attachable to the base structure, the boot being elastic and stretchable and comprising a cushioning wall configured to frictionally engage the second portion of the base structure to protect at least a bottom end of the base structure, wherein the boot is configured to slidably fit over the second portion of the base structure.

2 . The beverage system of claim 1 , the base structure comprising an engagement depression a predetermined height above the bottom margin.

3 . The beverage system of claim 2 , the boot having a height corresponding to the predetermined height of the engagement depression of the base structure.

4 . The beverage system of claim 2 , the boot comprising a lip configured to engage with the engagement depression of the base structure.

5 . The beverage system of claim 2 , the boot comprising an elastic material.

6 . The beverage system of claim 5 , the elastic material comprising one of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, silicone, rubberized silicone, thermoplastic polyurethane, polyurethane, thermoplastic polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, neoprene, and nitrile.

7 . The beverage system of claim 1 , the boot having a thickness complementary to an offset distance that the first portion of the base structure is offset from the second portion of the base structure.

8 . The beverage system of claim 7 , a first outer surface of the first portion of the base structure being level with a second outer surface of the boot.

9 . The beverage system of claim 1 , the lid structure comprising a thread portion configured to engage with a threading of the base structure.

10 . The beverage system of claim 1 , the boot providing insulation to the base structure.

11 . The beverage system of claim 1 , the boot comprising a bottom.

12 . The beverage system of claim 11 , the boot comprising at least one vent opening.

13 . The beverage system of claim 12 , wherein the at least one vent opening of the boot being located at the bottom of the boot.

14 . A beverage system comprising:

a base structure having a bottom margin and a top margin, the base structure comprising an inner wall and an outer wall, wherein the outer wall comprises a first portion offset from a second portion;

a lid structure; and

a sleeve removably attachable to the base structure, the sleeve being elastic and stretchable and comprising a cushioning wall configured to frictionally engage the second portion of the base structure to protect at least the second portion of the base structure, wherein the sleeve is configured to fit over the second portion of the base structure.

15 . The beverage system of claim 14 , the base structure comprising an engagement depression a predetermined height above the bottom margin.

16 . The beverage system of claim 15 , the sleeve comprising a height corresponding to the predetermined height of the engagement depression of the base structure.

17 . The beverage system of claim 15 , the sleeve comprising a lip configured to engage with the engagement depression of the base structure.

18 . The beverage system of claim 14 , the sleeve comprising of an elastic material.

19 . The beverage system of claim 18 , the elastic material being one of a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber, silicone, rubberized silicone, thermoplastic polyurethane, polyurethane, thermoplastic polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, neoprene, and nitrile.

20 . The beverage system of claim 14 , the sleeve having a thickness complementary to an offset distance that the first portion of the base structure is offset from the second portion of the base structure.
