Abstract

A wireless device receives a first uplink grant, for a first transport block (TB) of a hybrid acknowledgment repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a new data indication (NDI). The wireless device receives a group common signal comprising a cancellation indication indicating cancellation of transmission via one or more uplink resources indicated by the first uplink grant. The wireless device cancels an uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process based on the receiving the cancellation indication. After cancelling the uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process, the wireless device determines that the NDI associated with the HARQ process is toggled and a received second uplink grant is used for a new transmission of a second TB associated with the HARQ process. The wireless device transmits the second TB of the HARQ process based on the determining.

Claims (49)

1 . A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device, a first uplink grant, for a first transport block (TB) of a hybrid acknowledgment repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a new data indication (NDI);

receiving a group common signal comprising a cancellation indication indicating cancellation of transmission via one or more uplink resources indicated by the first uplink grant;

cancelling an uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process based on the receiving the cancellation indication;

after cancelling the uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process, determining that:

the NDI associated with the HARQ process is toggled; and

a received second uplink grant is used for a new transmission of a second TB associated with the HARQ process; and

transmitting, by the wireless device, the second TB of the HARQ process based on the determining.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:

a first NDI associated with the first uplink grant comprises a first value; and

a second NDI associated with the second uplink grant comprises a second value different from the first value.

3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising determining, by the wireless device, that the NDI is toggled based on the second value being different from the first value.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting the second TB of the HARQ process is based on the NDI being toggled.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the NDI is for the HARQ process.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first uplink grant is included in a first downlink control information comprising a process identifier of the HARQ process.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the NDI is determined based on the first downlink control information.

8 . A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive a first uplink grant, for a first transport block (TB) of a hybrid acknowledgment repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a new data indication (NDI);

receive a group common signal comprising a cancellation indication indicating cancellation of transmission via one or more uplink resources indicated by the first uplink grant;

cancel an uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process based on the receiving the cancellation indication;

after cancelling the uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process, determine that:

the NDI associated with the HARQ process is toggled; and

a received second uplink grant is used for a new transmission of a second TB associated with the HARQ process; and

transmit the second TB of the HARQ process based on the determining.

9 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein:

a first NDI associated with the first uplink grant comprises a first value; and

a second NDI associated with the second uplink grant comprises a second value different from the first value.

10 . The wireless device of claim 9 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to determine, by the wireless device, that the NDI is toggled based on the second value being different from the first value.

11 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the transmitting the second TB of the HARQ process is based on the NDI being toggled.

12 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the NDI is for the HARQ process.

13 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the first uplink grant is included in a first downlink control information comprising a process identifier of the HARQ process.

14 . The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the NDI is determined based on the first downlink control information.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wireless device, cause the wireless device to:

receive a first uplink grant, for a first transport block (TB) of a hybrid acknowledgment repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a new data indication (NDI);

receive a group common signal comprising a cancellation indication indicating cancellation of transmission via one or more uplink resources indicated by the first uplink grant;

cancel an uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process based on the receiving the cancellation indication;

after cancelling the uplink transmission of the first TB of the HARQ process, determine that:

the NDI associated with the HARQ process is toggled; and

a received second uplink grant is used for a new transmission of a second TB associated with the HARQ process; and

transmit the second TB of the HARQ process based on the determining.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein:

a first NDI associated with the first uplink grant comprises a first value; and

a second NDI associated with the second uplink grant comprises a second value different from the first value.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to determine, by the wireless device, that the NDI is toggled based on the second value being different from the first value.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the transmitting the second TB of the HARQ process is based on the NDI being toggled.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the first uplink grant is included in a first downlink control information comprising a process identifier of the HARQ process.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the NDI is determined based on the first downlink control information.
