1 - 26 . (canceled)
27 . A method, implemented in a network node, the method comprising:
receiving a first message comprising first information including service requirements for a data flow and second information indicating that the data flow is associated with a multi-modal data set;
determining, based on the second information, one or more policy and charging control (PCC) rules for a packet data unit (PDU) session of the data flow, wherein the one or more PCC rules are associated with the data flow; and
transmitting a second message comprising third information indicating the one or more PCC rules associated with the data flow.
28 . The method of claim 27 , comprising:
determining, based on the second information, a data network name and a single network slice selection assistance information (DNN/S-NSSAI) combination that is associated with the multi-modal data set; and
transmitting, to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), a third message comprising fourth information indicating a user equipment route selection policy (URSP) rule,
wherein the URSP rule includes the DNN/S-NSSAI combination, and wherein the WTRU is associated with at least one flow of the multi-modal data set.
29 . The method of claim 27 , wherein at least one other data flow is part of the multi-modal data set.
30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the data flow is associated with a first WTRU, wherein the at least one other data flow of the multi-modal data set is associated with a second WTRU, and wherein the first WTRU is different from the second WTRU.
31 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the second information is a multi-modal data set identifier.
32 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the second message is transmitted to a session management function (SMF) network element.
33 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the first message is received from an application function (AF) network element.
34 . The method of claim 33 , wherein the first message is received from the AF via a network exposure function (NEF) network element.
35 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the network node is a policy control function (PCF) network element.
36 . A network node, comprising a processor, a transceiver unit and a storage unit, and configured to:
receive a first message comprising first information including service requirements for a data flow and second information indicating that the data flow is associated with a multi-modal data set;
determine, one or more policy and charging control (PCC) rules for a packet data unit (PDU) session of the data flow, wherein the one or more PCC rules are associated with the data flow; and
transmit a second message comprising third information indicating the one or more PCC rules associated with the data flow.
37 . The network node of claim 36 , configured to:
determine, based on the second information, a data network name and a single network slice selection assistance information (DNN/S-NSSAI) combination that is associated with the multi-modal data set; and
transmit, to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), a third message comprising fourth information indicating a user equipment route selection policy (URSP) rule,
wherein the URSP rule includes the DNN/S-NSSAI combination and wherein the WTRU is associated with at least one flow of the multi-modal data set.
38 . The network node of claim 36 , wherein at least one other data flow is part of the multi-modal data set.
39 . The network node of claim 38 , wherein the data flow is associated with a first WTRU and the at least one other data flow of the multi-modal data set is associated with a second WTRU; wherein the first WTRU is different from the second WTRU.
40 . The network node of claim 36 , wherein the second information is a multi-modal data set identifier.
41 . The network node of claim 36 , wherein the second message is transmitted to a session management function (SMF) network element.
42 . The network node of claim 36 , wherein the first message is received from an application function (AF) network element.
43 . The network node of claim 42 , wherein the first message is received from the AF via a network exposure function (NEF) network element.
