PACKAGE FILM AND PACKAGE MATERIAL
Disclosed are a package film and a package material for packaging a food product or the like. A package film according to an embodiment includes a laminate including a first layer and a second layer disposed on the first layer, wherein the first layer includes a polyester resin including a diol residue and a dicarboxylic acid residue, and the second layer includes a vinyl alcohol-based copolymerization resin and the package film has an oxygen permeability of 10 cc/(m 2 -day-atm) or less at 23° C. The embodiments can provide package films and package materials having excellent properties such as oxygen barrier and moisture barrier, and also having excellent optical properties and improved printability.
1 . A package film comprising:
a laminate comprising a first layer, and a second layer disposed on the first layer,
wherein the first layer comprises a polyester resin comprising a diol residue and a dicarboxylic acid residue,
wherein the second layer comprises a vinyl alcohol-based copolymer resin, and
wherein the package film has an oxygen permeability of 10 cc/(m 2 ·day·atm) or less at 23° C.
2 . The package film of claim 1 ,
further having a moisture permeability of 50 g/(m 2 ·day) or less.
3 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the vinyl alcohol-based copolymer resin is a butenediol vinyl alcohol copolymer resin or an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin.
4 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the vinyl alcohol-based copolymer resin has a pyrolysis temperature of 210° C. to 230° C.
5 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the first layer is located in at least one of the two outermost layers of the laminate.
6 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the laminate has a light transmittance of 80% or more in the visible light of wavelengths 380 nm to 780 nm.
7 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the laminate has a haze of 30% or less.
8 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the laminate comprises 3 to 225 alternating layers of the first layer and the second layer.
9 . The package film of claim 1 ,
wherein the package film has a maximum thickness deviation (MTD 200 ) of 10 μm or less, as represented by Equation 2 below;
