80 . A nucleotide analogue comprising a nucleotide, wherein said nucleotide comprises (i) a detectable label attached to said nucleotide via a covalent linker, L 2 , comprising —SS—; and (i) a cleavable moiety attached to the 3′ oxygen of the nucleotide, wherein the cleavable moiety comprises

the symbol “----” is a non-covalent bond;

L 3 is a covalent linker;

L 4 is a bond, substituted or unsubstituted alkylene, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted arylene, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylene;

R 4 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;

R 5 is a detectable label, an anchor moiety, or affinity anchor moiety;

R 12 is a complementary affinity anchor moiety binder;

R 13 is a detectable label;

X 1 is halogen or —N 3 ; and

X 2 is hydrogen, halogen, —N 3 , or —CN.

81 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein:

a) X 1 is hydrogen, and X 2 is —N 3 ;

b) X 1 is halogen, and X 2 is hydrogen;

c) X 1 is halogen, and X 2 is halogen;

d) X 1 is halogen, and X 2 is —CN;

e) X 1 is halogen, and X 2 is —N 3 ;

f) X 1 is —CN, and X 2 is —N 3 ; or

g) X 1 is —N 3 , and X 2 is —N 3 .

82 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein:

a) X 1 is hydrogen, and X 2 is —F;

b) X 1 is —F, and X 2 is —F;

c) X 1 is —F, and X 2 is —CN; or

d) X 1 is —F, and X 2 is —N 3 .

83 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein X 1 and X 2 are independently —F, —Cl, —Br, or —I.

84 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein L 2 comprises:

89 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein L 2 further comprises a streptavidin moiety and a biotin moiety.

90 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 88 , wherein the streptavidin moiety further comprises a fluorescent dye.

The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein L 4 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 8 alkylene, substituted or unsubstituted 2 to 8 membered heteroalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted C 3 -C 8 cycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted 3 to 8 membered heterocycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted C 6 -C 10 arylene, or substituted or unsubstituted 5 to 10 membered heteroarylene.

92 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein L 4 is a bond or an unsubstituted C 1 -C 4 alkylene.

The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein R 4 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted 2 to 6 membered heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C 3 -C 6 cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted 3 to 6 membered heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, or substituted or unsubstituted 5 to 6 membered heteroaryl.

94 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein R 4 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 6 alkyl.

95 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein R 4 is substituted or unsubstituted phenyl.

96 . The nucleotide analogue of claim 80 , wherein the cleavable moiety is

97 . A nucleic acid polymerase complex, wherein said nucleic acid polymerase is bound to a nucleotide analogue of claim 80 .

98 . A nucleic acid polymerase complex comprising:

a polymerase;

a primer; and

a nucleotide analogue;

wherein said polymerase is bound to (i) the nucleotide analogue and (ii) the primer,

wherein said nucleotide analogue is bound to streptavidin via a first covalent linker, and

wherein said streptavidin is bound to a fluorophore via a second covalent linker.
