Abstract

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising cell indexes of secondary cells of a cell group. The wireless device does not monitor, on a secondary cell of the secondary cells, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a time duration based on the time duration corresponding to an uplink transmission on a lead secondary cell with a lowest cell index among the secondary cells of the cell group, where the lead secondary cell is an activated secondary cell.

does not expect to receive downlink signals comprising at least one of synchronization signals, demodulation reference signal (DRS), physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), or physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); or

does not decode received signals.

9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising obtaining, by the wireless device and via control signaling, uplink-downlink configuration of the secondary cells, wherein:

the uplink-downlink configuration in a secondary cell controls in which time intervals uplink or downlink transmissions take place;

the secondary cells are aggregated; and

the wireless device is not capable of simultaneous reception and transmission in the aggregated secondary cells.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the one or more RRC messages configures the cell group based on simultaneous reception and transmission capability in aggregated cells within the cell group.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein:

the one or more RRC messages comprises configuration parameters of the secondary cells;

the cell group is identified by a group index; and

the one or more RRC messages associate the secondary cells with the cell group using the cell group index.

12 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising obtaining, by the wireless device and via control signaling, uplink-downlink configuration of the secondary cells, wherein the uplink-downlink configuration in a secondary cell controls in which time intervals uplink or downlink transmissions take place.

15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising receiving, via the lead secondary cell of the secondary cells, the downlink transmission during the second time duration.

16 . A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising cell indexes of secondary cells of a cell group; and

not monitor on a secondary cell of the secondary cells, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a time duration based on the time duration corresponding to an uplink transmission on a lead secondary cell with a lowest cell index among the secondary cells of the cell group, wherein the lead secondary cell is an activated secondary cell.

17 . The wireless device of claim 16 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to:

transmit, via the lead secondary cell, the uplink transmission during the time duration; and

not receive, on the secondary cell, the PDCCH during the time duration.

18 . The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to not transmit uplink signals during a second time duration for another secondary cell of the secondary cells based on the second time duration corresponding to a downlink transmission on the lead secondary cell.

19 . The wireless device of claim 18 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to receive, via the lead secondary cell of the secondary cells, the downlink transmission during the second time duration.

20 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the secondary cells of the cell group are in the same frequency band.

21 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein:

the secondary cells in the cell group are in a first frequency band; and

a second plurality of cells in a second group are in a second frequency band.

22 . The wireless device of claim 21 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to transmit a UE capability message comprising one or more parameters indicating a UE capability associated with simultaneous reception and transmission via cells.
