ENHANCED M2M CONTENT MANAGEMENT BASED ON INTEREST
Methods, devices, and systems are disclosed for an M2M Interest Function. An M2M Interest Function may receive requests from users to publish the users' personal interests in particular data identify relationships and patterns in the data. Associated data may then be stored in a single best location for such data based on various criteria rather than on separate M2M Gateways or M2M Servers. This location may be provided to users interested in such data. Relationship and association data may be provided to M2M gateways.
1 . A method performed by a server connected to a network, wherein the server comprises one or more processors and memory, and wherein the server further includes computer-executable instructions stored in the memory which, when executed by the one or more processors, perform functions of a server in the network, the method comprising:
determining an indication of a probability that a user requests multiple machine-to-machine content resources simultaneously, the multiple machine-to-machine content resources associated with multiple machine-to-machine devices operatively connected to the network; and
determining, using the indication, a first machine-to-machine gateway in the network at which to store the multiple machine-to-machine content resources.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the indication comprises:
receiving from the user an interest message comprising a plurality of uniform resource identifiers associated with the multiple devices and corresponding time periods in which the user may be interested in those resources.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the indication comprises:
receiving indications of the user's content request activities.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a request from a machine-to-machine gateway to identify the determined machine-to-machine gateway at which the multiple machine-to-machine content resources are to be stored, and
in response to receiving the request, sending an indication to the machine-to-machine gateway identifying the first machine-to-machine gateway as the determined machine-to-machine gateway at which the multiple machine-to-machine content resources are to be stored.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising requesting that a second machine-to-machine gateway transfers the data to the first machine-to-machine gateway.

A server comprising one or more processors, a memory, and communication circuitry, the server being connected to a communications network via its communication circuitry, the server further including computer-executable instructions stored in the memory of the server which, when executed by the processor of the server, cause the server to:
determine an indication of a probability that a user requests multiple machine-to-machine content resources simultaneously, the multiple machine-to-machine content resources associated with multiple machine-to-machine devices operatively connected to the network; and
determine, using the indication, a first machine-to-machine gateway in the network at which to store the multiple machine-to-machine content resources.
7 . The server of claim 6 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the server to:
receive a request from a machine-to-machine gateway to identify the determined machine-to-machine gateway at which the multiple machine-to-machine content resources are to be stored; and
in response to receiving the request, to send an indication to the machine-to-machine gateway identifying the first machine-to-machine gateway as the determined machine-to-machine gateway at which the multiple machine-to-machine content resources are to be stored.
8 . The server of claim 6 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the server to:
receive a request from a customer device to indicate where information is stored; and
send an indication to the customer device of where the information is stored.
