Dynamic User Interfaces For Storage System Management Using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Dynamic user interfaces for storage system management using generative artificial intelligence (AI), including: receiving a natural language request via a natural language interface of a graphical user interface (GUI) for a storage system; generating, by a generative AI model and based on the natural language request, one or more GUI components for presenting information associated with the natural language request; and presenting, via the GUI for the storage system, the one or more GUI components.
1 . A method, comprising:
receiving a natural language request via a natural language interface of a graphical user interface (GUI) for a storage system;
generating, by a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model and based on the natural language request, one or more GUI components for presenting information associated with the natural language request; and
presenting, via the GUI for the storage system, the one or more GUI components.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the one or more GUI components comprises selecting, by the generative AI model and based on the natural language request, the one or more GUI components from a plurality of GUI components.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the one or more GUI components comprises dynamically generating, by the generative AI model and based on the natural language request, data encoding the one or more GUI components.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the one or more GUI components comprises generating the one or more GUI components based on contextual information associated with the natural language request.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein presenting the one or more GUI components comprises executing one or more commands to access data for presentation via the one or more GUI components.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the one or more GUI components comprises accessing, by the generative AI model, data for presentation via the one or more GUI components.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
generating, by the generative AI model, a natural language response to the natural language request; and
presenting, via the natural language interface, the natural language response.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the natural language request comprises receiving a voice encoding of the natural language request.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving another natural language request via the natural language interface; and
generating, by the generative AI model and based on the other natural language request, one or more commands for an interface of the storage system that, when executed, modify the storage system.
10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
receiving the one or more commands from the generative AI model; and
executing the one or more commands in response to receiving the one or more commands.
11 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
encoding the one or more commands into an executable script; and
providing the executable script in response to the other natural language request.
12 . A system comprising:
a memory; and
a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, the processing device configured to:
receive a natural language request via a natural language interface of a graphical user interface (GUI) for a storage system;
generate, by a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model and based on the natural language request, one or more GUI components for presenting information associated with the natural language request; and
present, via the GUI for the storage system, the one or more GUI components.
13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein, to generate the one or more GUI components, the processing device is further configured to select, by the generative AI model and based on the natural language request, the one or more GUI components from a plurality of GUI components.
14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein, to generate the one or more GUI components, the processing device is further configured to dynamically generate, by the generative AI model and based on the natural language request, data encoding the one or more GUI components.
15 . The system of claim 12 , wherein, to generate the one or more GUI components, the processing device is further configured to generate the one or more GUI components based on contextual information associated with the natural language request.
16 . A method, comprising:
receiving a natural language request via a natural language interface of a storage system; and
generating, by a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model and based on the natural language request, one or more commands for an interface of the storage system that, when executed, modify the storage system.
17 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
receiving the one or more commands from the generative AI model; and
executing the one or more commands in response to receiving the one or more commands.
18 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
encoding the one or more commands into an executable script; and
providing the executable script in response to the natural language request.
19 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
receiving a response to a request for confirmation to execute the one or more commands, wherein the response comprises an acceptance or a rejection; and
adding data indicating the response and the one or more commands to a training data set.
20 . The method of claim 19 , further comprising retraining the generative AI model based on the training data set.
